    摘要: A method of fabricating a solid-state imaging device is provided, which enables the formation of an anti-reflection film by oxidizing a surface of a metallic light-shield film without adding additional steps, even though the metallic light-shield film is composed of not only refractory metal silicide but also metals, including tungsten and molybdenum. The method comprises the steps of forming a metallic light-shield film on a light receiving sensor and a transfer electrode formed on a surface layer of a wafer, forming an opening on the metallic light-shield film on the light receiving sensor by etching, forming an interlayer film, and shaping the interlayer film into a lens shape by heat treatment. An atmosphere of either one or both of oxygen gas and ozone gas is prepared in a chamber for forming the interlayer film, and a surface of the metallic light-shield-film is oxidized before the interlayer film is formed.

    摘要: A cable connector includes a plug for connecting a coaxial cable to an electronic device such as a television or video cassette recorder. The plug includes a sleeve that connects with a first grounding terminal of a receptacle. An outer diameter of the sleeve is dimensioned to provide a good unstressed interference fit with the first grounding terminal. The sleeve has slits in a portion to permit elastic deformation when connecting with a second grounding terminal having an inner diameter less than that of the first grounding terminal. These slits permit the sleeve to compress sufficiently to form an interference fit inside the second grounding terminal. When both the first grounding terminal of the receptacle and the sleeve of the plug are dimensioned for the PAL format, and the second grounding terminal is dimensioned for the SECAM format, the plug fits either grounding terminal.

    摘要: A connector assembly having a floating structure includes a connector moveably mounted in a cradle housing. A part of this connector connects to and detaches from another connector facing, through a spacing, a connector-mounting window of the cradle housing. The connector on the moveable side is moveable freely within the range of the spacing. An elastic member of flexible material is provided on the exterior of the moveable-side connector and closely contacts and is housed in a housing part formed in the cradle housing. An elastic member restoring force, acting when coupling between the moveable-side connector and the other connector is released, causes the moveable-side connector to return its original position in the cradle housing.
