    摘要: Biomolecular and other interactions are analyzed with a simpler construction. A biotic sample is fixed to noble metal nanoparticles, and light is irradiated from a light source to the noble metal nanoparticles through an optical fiber. Light obtained after reflection of the irradiated light by the noble metal nanoparticles is introduced to one or more optical detecting units through another optical fiber. The optical detecting unit(s) separately measure the intensity of the input light in a second band including a maximum absorption wavelength, a first band covering a longer wavelength range than the range covered by the second band, and a third band covering a shorter wavelength range than the range covered by the second band.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a microreactor capable of reducing a pressure drop in an entire system.The microreactor includes a mixer 103 having a mixing channel for mixing two kinds of raw materials 101 and 102, and a reactor 109 having a reaction channel connected to the downstream side of the mixing channel to receive the mixture flowing out from the mixing channel and cause chemical reactions of the mixture inside the reaction channel. The reactor 109 a first reactor unit 107 having a large surface-to-volume (S-V) ratio of the reaction channel at an upstream side, and a second reactor unit 108 having a small S-V ratio of the reaction channel at a downstream.

    摘要: In a high-throughput cell assay apparatus, a cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus moves from a cell storage to a measuring portion, and then to a cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion. Thereafter, it is determined if the electrode chip after being used should be re-used, again, or not, by referring to a condition for exchanging the electrode chip. When not be re-used, again, the cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus shifts the electrode chip from the measuring portion to the cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion, thereby disposing the electrode chip. The conveying apparatus moves from an exchangeable electrode chip storage to the measuring portion, thereby position a new electrode chip onto the measuring portion.
