    摘要: A hand-held working tool has a housing and an internal combustion engine arranged in the housing and comprising a crankshaft and an air filter. A tool is driven by the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine. A fan housing is attached to the engine housing and has an air inlet. A fan wheel is arranged in the fan housing and is driven by the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine to supply cooling air, sucked in through the air inlet, to the internal combustion engine. The fan housing has a bottom extending radially to the crankshaft. The bottom and a side of the fan wheel facing the bottom define a chamber in the fan housing. The bottom has a combustion air outlet. A combustion air channel is connected to the combustion air outlet and to the air filter. The combustion air outlet is axially supplying combustion air from the chamber through the combustion air channel into the air filter of internal combustion engine. The fan housing has a channel wall having a bottom portion connected to the face of the bottom remote from the fan wheel and covering the bottom partially to form a double-walled bottom. The end face portion of the combustion air channel is defined by the bottom and the bottom portion of the channel wall. In an alternative embodiment the combustion air channel is provided in a hollow beam of a support that supports the drive unit of the working tool.

    摘要: An ignition circuit is for an internal combustion engine in a handheld portable work apparatus. A combustion chamber (4) is configured in the cylinder (3) of the engine (1) which is delimited by a piston (5) driving a crankshaft (7). A pole wheel (10) revolves with the crankshaft (7) and is assigned to an induction loop (13). The pole wheel periodically changes the magnetic flux in the induction loop. An ignition capacitor (16) is charged by a charge coil (14) of the induction loop and is discharged via a discharge circuit (15) via an ignition coil (17). The ignition coil is connected to a spark plug (19) projecting into the combustion chamber. For achieving a powerful ignition spark, the discharge of the ignition capacitor is prevented by an rpm evaluation circuit (23) when the rpm curve (30) exhibits an rpm change (Δn) which exceeds a pregiven threshold value.

    摘要: A muffler assembly for an internal combustion engine of a portable handheld work apparatus such as a motor-driven chain saw, cutoff machine or the like includes an exhaust-gas muffler (1) which has a muffler housing (10). The muffler housing (10) is formed essentially from two half shells (24, 25) connected substantially fluid-tight to each other. The interior space of the muffler housing (10) includes at least two chambers (2, 3) which are partitioned from each other by a partition wall (4). A catalytic converter (5) is mounted in the partition wall (4). In the interior space of the muffler housing (10), an exhaust-gas inlet (6) opens which is connected to an exhaust-gas stub (9) of the cylinder (8) of the engine. The exhaust-gas muffler has an exhaust-gas outlet (7) which conducts exhaust gas from the interior space. The exhaust-gas muffler (1) is connected with threaded fasteners at at least three attachment points (22, 23) to the cylinder (8) in order to obtain a good fixation of the exhaust-gas muffler on the cylinder (8) of the engine. At least two attachment points (22) are arranged in the region of the exhaust-gas stub (9).

    摘要: A muffler arrangement includes an exhaust-gas muffler, which is subdivided into an inlet space and an outlet space. An exhaust-gas stub of an internal combustion engine opens into the inlet space. Exhaust gas is conducted from the outlet space into an air channel via an exhaust-gas outlet. The air channel is formed between the housing of the exhaust-gas muffler and an outer cover and extends along a side of the exhaust-gas muffler. A cooling-air component flow is branched from a cooling-air flow of a cooling-air blower and enters at a first end of the air channel. The cooling-air component flow exits again at the second end of the air channel. In order to reduce the discharge temperature of the exhaust gas (especially with the arrangement of a catalytic converter), it is provided that the exhaust-gas jet is conducted in the air channel in spaced relationship to the air channel walls and is essentially surrounded on its path to the air channel outlet window by the supplied cooling-air component flow so that the exhaust-gas jet forms a core flow and the cooling-air component flow forms a cover flow surrounding the core flow.

The diaphragm carburetor has a fuel-filled control chamber with a control diaphragm which on that side facing away from the control chamber delimits a compensation chamber. To limit speed, a control pressure line is provided between the compensation chamber and the air stream generated by the cooling fan.

    摘要: A two-stroke engine is for a portable handheld work apparatus such as a motor-driven chain saw, cutoff machine, brushcutter or the like. A combustion chamber (3) is configured in the cylinder (2) of the engine (1) and is delimited by a reciprocating piston (5). The piston (5) drives a crankshaft (7) via a connecting rod (6). The crankshaft (7) is rotatably journalled in the crankcase (4). The two-stroke engine includes a discharge opening (10) for conducting exhaust gases out of the combustion chamber (3) and an inlet (11) via which an air/fuel mixture is conducted to the crankcase (4). The air/fuel mixture passes via at least one transfer channel (12, 15) from the crankcase (4) into the combustion chamber (3). The transfer channels (12, 15) open at one end with a transfer window (13, 16) into the combustion chamber (3) and are connected at the other end to the crankcase (4). A bypass channel (20) conducts essentially fuel-free gas and opens via a membrane valve (19) into the transfer channel (15). The sum of all areas of the inlet windows (13, 16) referred to the piston displacement of the engine is approximately 1.4 mm2/cm3 to approximately 5.90 mm2/cm3 whereby good exhaust-gas values are obtained at low fuel consumption.
