摘要： A controller performs, while controlling a first stage cryopanel to have a target temperature: a first determination in which it is determined whether a second stage cryopanel has been heated to a temperature higher than or equal to an alert temperature set to be lower than a maximum temperature of the second stage cryopanel set in the vacuum apparatus; and a second determination in which it is determined whether the second stage cryopanel is continuously being heated, for a preset period of time or longer, to a temperature within a temperature range set on condition that the alert temperature is a maximum. The controller may perform, while controlling the first stage cryopanel to have a target temperature, a third determination in which it is determined whether a state where an error between the temperature of the second stage cryopump during a pumping operation and the minimum attained temperature thereof measured in the initial stage of an operation of the cryopump occurs, has been continued for a continued period of time or longer, the continued period of time being set to be longer than the preset period of time.

摘要： Disclosed is a motor in which a commutator (10) is provided with connecting wires which short-circuit equipotential segments; brushes (21) are constituted by a low-speed brush (21a), a high-speed brush (21b), and a common brush (21c) used in common by the low-speed and high-speed brushes, and are juxtaposed along the circumferential direction. The circumferential brush width (W2) of the high-speed brush is set to be smaller than the circumferential brush width (W1) of the low-speed brush. The high-speed brush and the low-speed brush are formed so that simultaneous sliding contact with equipotential segments (15) can be avoided. Additionally, armature cores (8) are provided such that a plurality of teeth (12) is point-symmetrical about a rotary shaft (3) at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and the teeth and slots (13) are formed so as to exist alternately at intervals of 90 degrees in the circumferential direction. By virtue of the above configuration, vibration and noise can be reduced while achieving miniaturization and high performance of a motor.

摘要： An audio disk/memory disk player. At the time of playing a disk, TOC information in a lead-in area will be read out first after loading of the disk is complete. The player determines whether the disk to be played is an audio disk (CD) or a memory disk (CD-ROM) based on identifying information in the TOC information. If the disk is the memory disk, the operation goes directly to a pause mode so that upon reception of a read command transition to the searching for a designated address is promptly executed to quickly read out the desired data. Only when the disk being played is the audio disk, the audio system is changed to the audio disk from another source, thus permitting a user to view a map while listening to the previous source. When playing for an area having a series of group information recorded is complete in special play mode, the mode is quickly changed to the pause mode in the case of the memory disk to wait for the read command, thus ensuring quick reading of designated map data. If the disk discrimination result indicates the memory disk, a muting process is performed to inhibit a sound generation from a loudspeaker. If in this case there are operation commands originating from erroneous confirmation by the user, at least one of the commands is ignored.

摘要： A disk playing method for a compact disk player or the like in which the time before the start of the playback of designated portion of the disk is reduced. An accumulated total time code is read in the led-in area of the disk, and a predetermined code is detected during this reading operation. If though the predetermined code cannot be detected in reading the accumulated total time code, a frame calculation is carried out to jump the pickup of the disk player across tracks to read another accumulated total time code, whereupon, after the predetermined code has been read, necessary data is read from the lead-in region.

Thereafter, a series of repeated focusing operations of fixed, limited duration are performed until either focusing is achieved or the number of focusing operations reaches a first number.
