摘要: An image acquisition unit (2) acquires an image obtained by capturing at least eyes of a target person. An object specifying unit (4) specifies an object in a line-of-sight direction of the target person using the acquired image. An incident light amount calculation unit (6) calculates an incident light amount representing an amount of light incident on the eyes of the target person using the acquired image. A reference pupil size determination unit (8) determines a reference pupil size based on the calculated incident light amount. A pupil size calculation unit (10) calculates a pupil size of the target person using the acquired image. An interest determination unit (12) determines an interest of the target person in the object by comparing the determined reference pupil size with the calculated pupil size.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a device to mechanically and electrically connect with a touch screen computing device, such as a tablet computer. The device can include a platform that can be moved into and out of physical contact with a surface of a touch screen. During engagement with the surface, the moveable platform electrically interacts with the touch screen (e.g., via capacitive coupling) to enable detection by the touch screen of contact members (e.g., pegs) even in the absence of user contact with the pegs.

摘要: A psychological oppression feeling that is given to a person by a robot is accurately calculated.
There is provided a psychological oppression feeling calculating device including: a first acquisition unit (S02) that acquires a relative positional relationship between a person and a plurality of robots including the number of the plurality of robots with respect to the person, a moving speed of the robot, and a distance between the person and the robot; a second acquisition unit (S01) that acquires a density of the robots with respect to the person; and a calculation unit (S03 and S04) that calculates a psychological oppression feeling given to the person by the robots from results acquired by the first acquisition unit and the second acquisition unit.-

摘要: A brain machine interface system for use with an electroencephalogram to identify a behavioral intent of a person is disclosed. The system includes an electroencephalogram configured to sense electromagnetic signals generated by a brain of a person. The electromagnetic signals include a time component and a frequency component. A monitor monitors a response of the person to a stimulus and a characteristic of the stimulus. A synchronization module synchronizes the sensed electromagnetic signals with the response and the characteristic to determine a set of electromagnetic signals corresponding to the monitored response and the characteristic. A processor processes the set of electromagnetic signals and extracts feature vectors. The feature vectors define a class of behavioral intent. The processor determines the behavioral intent of the person based on the feature vectors. A brain machine interface and a method for identifying a behavioral intent of a person is also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention is a system and method to collect and analyze data produced through biometric and psychometric tasks on interactive computing devices. The collected biometric data can be used to quantify motor skills and to generate statistics that correlate with or predict ability in other functional domains. The biometric data tasks and data collection can be incidental to user interaction with a computing device using a touchpad or other input device—such as users drawing lines to connecting screen elements while using the user interface of an application on a computing device.

摘要: A system includes a biometric sensor that detects biometric data of a person in a first region and a presuming unit calculating, from the biometric data, a stress index and presuming that the person is a person to be tracked based on the calculated stress index. The system also includes a first camera acquiring first image data of the person in the first region and a second camera acquiring second image data of the person in a second region. The system further includes a monitoring unit that checks the second image data with the first image data corresponding to the target person to track the target person in the second region and determine whether the suspicious person enters the second region. The system also includes a warning unit that emits a warning when the monitoring unit determines that the target person enters the second region.
