    摘要: The invention pertains to a device for influencing the temperature distribution over the width of a slab or a strip, particularly in hot strip rolling mill, wherein at least one cooling device is provided that features nozzles for applying a cooling medium, wherein the nozzles are arranged and/or actuated in such a way that the cooling medium is applied, in particular, at positions at which an elevated temperature is determined. The invention furthermore pertains to a device for influencing the state of the surface evenness of the strip by means of strip cooling, wherein the cooling device is controlled in dependence on the state of surface evenness of the strip in such a way that the surface unevenness is reduced or eliminated. In addition, this invention makes it possible to purposefully influence the strip contour, wherein the strip or the slab is cooled widthwise in such a way that the strip contour approximates a desired target contour more closely.

    摘要: An oil film bearing for rotatably supporting the journal surface of a rolling mill roll neck on a hydrodynamically maintained oil film. The bearing includes a bushing having outlets adapted to axially interrupt the load carrying continuity of the oil film by draining oil from the load zone at locations intermediate to the ends of the bushing, thereby subdividing the load zone into at least two axially separated pressure zones. Position sensors are located between the pressure zones to monitor the spatial relationship or oil film thickness between the bushing and the journal surface. The journal surface is defined by at least two sleeve segments received on and fixed relative to the roll neck. Adjacent ends of the sleeve segments are aligned radially or in a coplanar relationship with the axial separation between the pressure zones. Temperature sensors monitor the temperature of the oil being drained through the aforesaid outlets.

    摘要: The present invention relates to controlled cooling in manufacture of steel plate, and in particular, to an on-line cooling system for controlled rolling with an inter-pass cooling process, which comprises a rolling mill and on-line cooling equipment. The cooling equipment is accessorily arranged on the exit of the rolling mill, so that the rolling mill and the cooling equipment are combined. One rolling mill and one set of on-line cooling equipment are considered a cooling group, and several such groups are connected in series, so the steel plate can be cooled in any rolling pass. In this invention, both the cooling system and the water supply system are arranged on the main frame, and the rolling process and the cooling process are synchronized by using inter-pass cooling. Consequently, satisfied rolling effect in the condition of a temperature gradient along the thickness direction, grain refinement at the surface and drastic strength improvement without sacrificing toughness are achieved. Besides, better quality of the plate center region is obtained, double bulging is avoided and the yield of steel plate is improved due to the higher deformation permeability.

    摘要: A rolling system includes an induction heater, temperature detectors and, a finishing mill, and a power setting calculation device. The power setting calculation device generates a temperature distribution pattern in a plate thickness direction of a steel material at a temperature control position in an upstream side, on the basis of a temperature detected by the temperature detector. In addition, the power setting calculation device calculates a volume average temperature of the steel material at a temperature control position in a downstream side, at a time when the steel material moves to the temperature control position in the downstream side from the temperature control position in the upstream side, on the basis of the generated temperature distribution pattern. Then, the power setting calculation device calculates an electric power necessary for the induction heater so that the calculated volume average temperature follows a target temperature of the steel material at the temperature control position in the downstream side.
