摘要: A method and an installation for inductively heating flat objects that are transported in a feed direction. The installation has at least one transverse field inductor device which extends transversely to the feed direction over the width of the flat object and has a longitudinal axis running parallel to the transverse axis of the flat object. The transverse field inductor device is positioned such that the longitudinal axis extends in a vertical plane obliquely with respect to the transverse axis of the flat object. With the method it is possible to vary the distance between the flat object and the inductor device and thus the temperature distribution over the transverse profile of the flat object so that the flat object is heated homogeneously.

摘要: This disclosure provides a predetermined composition, where a conversion value C* of total carbon contents in Ti, Nb and V precipitates whose grain sizes are less than 20 nm is 0.010 mass % to 0.100 mass %, Fe content in Fe precipitates is 0.03 mass % to 0.50 mass %, and an average grain size of ferrite grains whose grain sizes are top 5 % large in ferrite grain size distribution of rolling direction cross section is (4000/TS)2 μm or less, the TS indicating tensile strength in unit of MPa.

摘要: An aluminium-zinc-hot-dipped and colour-coated steel plate having a 600 MPa yield strength grade and a high elongation and a manufacturing method thereof, with the chemical components in mass percentage of a substrate of the steel plate being: 0.07-0.15% of C, 0.02-0.5% of Si, 1.3-1.8% of Mn, N≤0.004%, S≤0.01%, Ti≤0.20%, Nb≤0.060%, and the balance being Fe and other inevitable impurities, and meanwhile satisfying the conditions of: (C+Mn/6)≥0.3%; Mn/S≥150; Nb satisfying 0.01%≤(Nb-0.22C-1.1N)≤0.06% where no Ti is contained; Ti satisfying 0.5≤Ti/C≤1.5 where no Nb is contained; and 0.04%≤(Ti+Nb)≤0.26% where Ti and Nb are added in combination. The steel plate has a yield strength of ≥600 MPa, a tensile strength of ≥650 MPa, an elongation after fracture of ≥12%, a good strength and toughness and an excellent corrosion resistance.

摘要: Disclosed are metalworking rollers for fabricating multi-gauge sheet metal parts, methods for making and methods for using such rollers, and rolling mill machines employing variable-radius metalworking rollers for fabricating multi-gauge metal components. A metalworking roller for a rolling mill machine is disclosed. The metalworking roller includes a cylindrical roller body that rotatably and drivingly connects to the rolling mill machine. An outer diameter surface spanning around the roller body circumference includes an outermost peak region and an innermost valley region recessed radially inward from the outermost peak region and elongated circumferentially around the roller body. During operation of the rolling mill machine, the outermost and innermost regions of the roller body's outer diameter surface sequentially press against and thereby modify the gauge of a metal workpiece. Each region has a respective transverse width and circumferential length extending across and around the longitudinal length and circumference, respectively, of the roller body.

摘要: A method for manufacturing thin strip continuously cast 700 Mpa grade high strength weather-resistant steel, the method comprising the following steps: 1) casting a 1-5 mm thick cast strip in a double roller continuous casting machine, the cast strip comprising the following chemical compositions by weight percent: C 0.03-0.1%, Si≤0.4%, Mn 0.75-2.0%, P 0.07-0.22%, S≤0.01%, N≤0.012%, and Cu 0.25-0.8%, further comprising more than one of Nb, V, Ti and Mo: Nb 0.01-0.1%, V 0.01-0.1%, Ti 0.01-0.1%, and Mo 0.1-0.5%, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities; 2) cooling the cast strip at a rate greater than 20° C./s; 3) hot rolling the cast strip under a temperature of 1050-1250° C. at a reduction rate of 20-50% and a deformation rate greater than 20 s−1; then conducting austenite online recrystallization, the thickness of the hot rolled strip being 0.5-3.0 mm; 4) cooling at a rate of 10-80° C./s; and 5) rolling up under a temperature of 500-650° C. The obtained steel strip microstructure mainly consists of uniformly distributed bainites and needle-shaped ferrites.

A microstructure includes bainitic ferrite in an area fraction of 90% or more, and a martensite/austenite (M/A) constituent as a residual component thereof.

摘要: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet containing: in mass%, C: 0.005% or less; Si: 0.1% to 2.0%; Mn: 0.05% to 0.6%; P: 0.100% or less; and Al: 0.5% or less, in which 10 pieces/μm3 or less in number density of non-magnetic precipitate AlN having an average diameter of 10 nm to 200 nm are contained, and an average magnetic flux density B50 in a rolling direction and in a direction perpendicular to rolling is 1.75 T or more. This non-oriented electrical steel sheet can be manufactured by two methods of a method of performing hot rolling annealing at a temperature of 750° C. to an Ac1 transformation point and a method of setting a coil winding temperature to 780° C. or higher and performing self annealing.

摘要: An aluminum clad member is produced by: disposing a joining assistance member at a joint interface between an Al core member and an Al skin member, which joining assistance member being formed by crossing Al wires with each other in longitudinal and lateral directions to form a grid, and having a structure in which spot-like thick portions having a thickness of 0.2-3.2 mm are formed at intersections of the Al wires and arranged in the longitudinal and lateral directions so as to be spaced apart from each other by a distance of 0.2-13 mm; and performing a hot rolling operation with respect to the thus obtained stack of the Al core member, the Al skin member and the joining assistance member, by partially fixing together those members at their peripheral portions or without fixing together those members, such that the joint interfaces is communicated with an ambient air.
