The height adjustable suspension unit includes: a shock absorber S having a cylinder 1 and an extensible rod 2 disposed in the cylinder 1 to be able to advance and retract, the extensible rod 2 having an end portion that is coupled to a chassis X; a coil spring 4 mounted around the extensible rod 2, the coil spring 4 having a lower end supported on a spring base 3 that is attached to the upper end of the cylinder 1; and a lifting and lowering mechanism D including a gear mechanism A that is rotationally driven by a power source, a power conversion section B that converts power transmitted from the gear mechanism A into power to move the cylinder 1 up and down, and a guide section C that guides the up and down movement of the cylinder 1.

    摘要: An active roll control device utilizes a driving torque to move a suspension arm side connection point of a stabilizer link that connects both sides of a stabilizer bar with a suspension arm along a sliding unit such that roll of a vehicle is actively controlled. The sliding unit includes a linear shaft that extends in a vehicle width direction in a housing on the suspension arm, a linear bushing into which the linear shaft is inserted to be slidably moved along the linear shaft in the housing, and a bushing housing that is fixed on an external circumference of the linear bushing, a double ball joint is fixed on an inner side thereof to connect the bushing housing, and the double ball joint is connected to a drive shaft of the drive source through one end of a push rod and a lower end of the stabilizer link.

    摘要: The invention relates to an arrangement of a stabilizer (26), which is configured in two parts, on a wheel suspension for a motor vehicle, comprising torsion bars (26b) which are separated from each other and are each articulated on wheel suspension elements (16) by means of an output lever (26a) and can be co-rotated in the same or opposite direction by means of associated actuating devices (30), wherein each torsion bar (26b) is extended with a hollow shaft (26e) which encompasses the torsion bar (26b) in order to increase the effective torsion length, the output lever (26a) being formed on the hollow shaft. According to the invention, the torsion bar (26b) is mounted in a fixed bearing (59) in the actuating device (30) and in an axial loose bearing (26d) in the hollow shaft (26e).

    摘要: A transverse link for a wheel suspension, which can be connected to a suspension point of a car body or of a chassis and a holding point of a wheel mount. The transverse link has a connecting rod on the wheel mount side and a connecting rod on the vehicle side, which are connected to one another in a rotating manner. The connecting rod on the vehicle side can be fastened on the suspension point of the auto body or of the chassis and the connecting rod on the wheel mount side can be fastened to the holding point of the wheel mount. Such a transverse link can be used both on the front and rear axles. The plurality of variable parameters permits fine coordination with regard to kinematic travel properties. Also, a low number of additional components are required.

The coupling device interacts with the first rotor and the second rotor in such a way that, starting from the rest position, an axial movement of the second rotor can be produced by means of a first rotary motion of the first rotor in order to release the second rotor from the stationary part and thereby bring it into a working position.

    摘要: A vehicle suspension system (55) is configured so as to contain all of the suspension motion control elements completely within the volume of the road wheel (100) while remotely locating the energy storage device (45) and damping device (42). An upright (60) comprises the spindle (61), brake caliper (105), and structure to hold a main strut shaft (70) parallel to a secondary strut shaft (67). The suspension's motion is controlled by the shafts which slide relative to the sprung part of the vehicle (1). The main strut shaft (70) includes a pumping piston (73). The fluid (91) displaced by the pumping piston (73) flows through a hydraulic connection (47) to a remote suspension module (40) mounted to the sprung part of the vehicle. The remote suspension module (40) hydraulically transmits the wheel motion to the remote energy storage device (45) and damping device (42). A steering arm (95) rotating around the main strut shaft (70) is configured to allow both struts (70 and 67) to slide through it, thus eliminating bump steer.

    摘要: A zero-turn mower comprising a zero-turn mower frame, a front axle coupled to the zero-turn mower frame, first and second caster wheel assemblies, and first and second front shock assemblies. The front shock assemblies rotatably and telescopically couple the caster wheel assemblies to the front axle, thereby providing vertical shock absorption. The front axle may be a floating axle that is pivotably coupled to the mower frame and/or the shock assemblies may define an internal spring-receiving chamber that is substantially isolated from the external environment. Such a zero-turn mower may provide a smoother ride and may require less maintenance and repair than conventional zero-turn mowers.
