    摘要: Fragrances having a fresh character are usually very volatile and therefore not very economical in typical applications such as washing or cleaning processes for example. For that reason they have to be used in relatively large amounts in order to bring about appropriate effects. The present invention describes photolabile pro-fragrances that allow for a greatly improved persistence of the fragrance impression, in particular one having a fresh character, in typical applications. A more economical use of the fragrances in question can be ensured in this way.

    摘要: A method for producing a norbornene derivative includes forming a Mannich base represented by any of general formulae (5) to (7) by reacting a carbonyl compound represented by any of general formulae (1) to (3) and an amine compound represented by general formula (4) with each other in an acidic solvent, to thereby obtain a reaction liquid comprising the Mannich base in the acidic solvent, wherein the acidic solvent comprises a formaldehyde derivative and 0.01 mol/L or more of an acid represented by formula HX; reacting the Mannich base and a diene compound represented by general formula (8) with each other by adding an organic solvent, a base in an amount of 1.0 to 20.0 equivalents to the acid, and the diene compound to the reaction liquid, and then heating the reaction liquid, to thereby form the norbornene derivative represented by any of general formulae (9) to (11).

    摘要: Indane compounds of general formulae (1) to (4) and their pharmaceutical use, particularly to achieve mast cell stabilising activity and/or anti-inflammatory activity are described. In these formulae R1 to R7 may be selected from: H, halo, hydroxy, alkoxy, aryloxy, acetoxy, carboxy, cyclopentyl, alkyl carbonyl, hydro carbonyl, amino, amido, alkylamino, hydroxyamino, amine oxide groups, azo groups, cyano, hydrazino groups, hydrazide groups, hydrazone groups, indane, indene, imide groups, iminoether groups, ureyl groups, oxime, nitro, nitrate, nitrite, nitroso groups, nitirile, heterocyclic groups containing hetero atoms selected from one or more of N, O or S, aralkyl groups, aryl groups, mono and polybenzoid aryl groups, substituted aryl groups, thiol, thioureyl, phenylthiol groups, sulphonic acid groups, sulphoxide groups, sulphone groups, carboxylic acid groups of C1 to C10 which may be substituted or unsubstituted, alkyl, substituted alkyl groups, acyl groups, substituted acyl groups; where R1 and R3 may together represent a double bond and wherein in (CH2)n, n is 0 to 8.
