    摘要: This invention provides automatic and reliable determination of the touch point of a clutch controlled by an automatic clutch actuation controller. This invention determines the touch point upon power-up while idling the engine, with the transmission in neutral and an input shaft brake applied. The clutch actuation controller gradually engages the clutch so that the measured transmission input speed matches a reference speed signal preferably between 40 and 60% of the idle speed. If the actuation is slow enough, this reliably provides the degree of clutch engagement at a small torque matching the braking torque which is the touch point. If there is no previous knowledge of the touch point, the clutch is applied at a fast rate and an approximate touch point is determined, then the clutch is positioned below the approximate touch point and is again applied at a slow rate to more accurately ascertain the touch point. If there is previous knowledge of the touch point, the clutch is positioned just below the old touch point and is applied at a slow rate to determine a new touch point. The new and old touch points may be combined to determine the updated touch point.

    摘要: A method of learning a kiss point of a first clutch of a dual clutch transmission includes controlling a rotational speed of the input shaft to be within a pre-determined range. When both the first clutch and the second clutch are determined to be disengaged from the input shaft, and the rotational speed of the input shaft is within the pre-determined range, then the first clutch is moved from a disengaged position into an engaged position. An increase in a rotational speed of a first transmission shaft, which is coupled to the first clutch, is detected. When the increase in the rotational speed of the first transmission shaft is detected, a position of the first clutch is identified. The identified position of the first clutch is saved in a memory of a transmission control module as a learned first clutch kiss point.

    摘要: A method for determining a torque characteristic of a friction clutch located in a drive train of a motor vehicle in the force flow between a drive engine and a transmission and which is closed in its rest position. At least two marker points of a regulating-path-dependent torque characteristic are determined, one of which is determined at a slipping limit of the clutch. To enhance determination of the torque characteristic, a first marker point is determined with the clutch engaged, the transmission in neutral and the engine running, by slowly disengaging the clutch until a reduction in the speed of the transmission input shaft relative to the engine speed is detected. A corresponding pair of values of this marker point with the known braking torque of the input shaft and the set position are used for adapting an existing characteristic.
