    摘要: Systems and methods are provided to facilitate correct execution of a machine jog operation where a plurality of interfaces can generate a machine jog command, which is received by an industrial controller. One or more machine jog commands can be received and state data is maintained regarding whether a machine jog command has been received. An OR gate logic operation is performed on the state data to determine whether a machine jog operation has been received from any of the plurality of interfaces, and in the event of receiving a machine jog operation, a control command is generated to effect a machine jog operation. The plurality of interfaces enable interaction with the controller, to facilitate control of a machine from a plurality of locations. The system can be expanded to include further interfaces. Also, information regarding a machine jog command can be published to the plurality of interfaces.

    摘要: A touch screen input apparatus including a plurality of touch screens, a chip mounter provided with the apparatus, and a method for controlling the chip mounter are provided which improve the capability of controlling the chip mounter. The touch screen input apparatus of a chip mounter comprises a plurality of monitors dispersedly disposed in the vicinity of the chip mounter to provide display screens for inputting the letter or numeral, a touch panel attached to each monitor for recognizing a touched coordinate on each display screen and outputting an electrical signal, priority order and release time controlling means for receiving the signals output from the touch panels and recognizing the order of generation thereof, and a multiplexer for receiving the signals output from the touch panels and sequentially selecting and outputting the input signals according to the order recognized by the priority order and release time controlling means. The touch screen input apparatus includes the monitors and the touch screen which are located at different places in order to control the chip mounter, thereby improving the operational capability of the chip mounter.

    摘要: Machines having a boom or arm pivotally disposed thereon wherein the length of the boom or arm and the angle thereof with respect to a reference plane are adjustable by means of actuators are well known. However, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to simultaneously control the actuators in a coordinated fashion to move the end of the boom or arm in a straight line path. In order to overcome this problem, a boom control system for a boom according to the present invention controls the actuators in either of two modes of operation, the first mode of operation comprising independent control over each actuator to afford polar coordinate operation and the second mode of operation comprising synchronized control over the actuators so that the end of the member may be moved in a straight line. Means are provided for manually selecting one of the two modes of operation. Means may be provided for calculating the amount of remaining horizontal throw of the boom or arm when a command to move same is issued.
