摘要: Disclosed is a new classification of Turbine Prime Mover, capable of producing high magnitudes of rotational speed, potential rotating energy and power production. The invention is a rotating machine adapted to be propelled by the net force created by asymmetric radio frequency resonant cavities (7). The turbine employs thrusters (7) electrically driven by microwave signals produced from adapted Klystron Tubes (3). By optimizing microwave production, and thruster pressures via the internal radio frequency cavity resonance, power in the field of the thruster by wave tube amplification, internal reflectivity and cooling, the principles of rotor-dynamics are applied to produce a new class of energy storage machine. Low power inputs yield high energy magnitudes over time accumulated thruster operation in the rotor. The turbine rotor is capable of acting as a prime mover for energy injection into a rotor mass, or can create real work by outputting rotational energy into torque.

摘要: This invention relates to a device for increasing fuel efficiency and reducing post-combustion pollutant gas emission for internal combustion engines. In one embodiment, the present invention discloses a device with an inner circular electrode with gear-shaped outer circumference and an outer cylindrical electrode. The generated plasma between electrodes breaks the air molecules, and forms ozone and charged moieties, significantly improving the combustion efficiency and post-combustion pollutant gas emission. In one embodiment, the device further comprises one or more brushes. In one embodiment, the invention also discloses a system comprising: 1) the device described herein, 2) a voltage controlling system, and 3) a humidity controlling system. In one embodiment, the fuel consumption can be reduced by 2% to 55%. In one embodiment, the pollutant gas emission can be reduced by 25% to 99%.

摘要: Provided is an in-combustion chamber flow control device used in an engine having an intake passage connected to an intake opening formed in a ceiling surface of a combustion chamber, at an angle inclined with respect to a direction of an axis of a cylinder. This in-combustion chamber flow control device comprises a plasma actuator (28) disposed inside the combustion chamber (16). The plasma actuator comprises: a dielectric body (38) disposed along the ceiling surface (16a) of the combustion chamber, at a position closer to a center of the ceiling surface than the intake opening (18a); an exposed electrode (40) disposed on one side of the dielectric body facing the combustion chamber; and an embedded electrode (42) disposed on a side opposite to the exposed electrode across the dielectric body. The embedded electrode is disposed at a position closer to the intake opening than the exposed electrode.

摘要: It is widely appreciated that renewable sources of energy are desirable. In particular, in recent years the development of biodiesel has been encouraged in order to find a replacement for fossil fuels in internal combustion engines. Typically, such biodiesel is based on triacylglycerols of vegetable origin. Animal fat, due to its different chemical composition and production process presents additional challenges when attempted to be used as a source of fuel. Most known methods require extensive processing of naturally occurring fats in order for them to be usable in conventional engines. According to the present invention, there is provided a method of oxidizing organic fats within an internal combustion engine to generate power by applying a first electrical charge to an oxidizer (e.g. air) and applying a second electrical charge to the organic fat opposite in polarity to the first electrical charge. In this way, constituents of the organic fat to be oxidized are attracted to the oxidizer, in preference to an interior surface of the combustion chamber. Thus, carbonization of the interior surface of the combustion chamber is reduced, as material contributing to carbonization is retained within exhaust gas.
