    摘要: A locating appliance configured to sense an article includes a push-pull measurement bridge and a comparator. The push-pull measurement bridge is configured to actuate a first electromagnetic device and a second electromagnetic device, in each case in a variable ratio. The first electromagnetic device takes the actuation as a basis for producing an electromagnetic alternating field in a region of the article. The comparator is configured to sense the article if the variable ratio differs from a predetermined ratio by more than a predetermined amount.

    摘要: A current sensor includes semi-annular first and second magnetic cores, first and second sensors, and a differential output part. The first magnetic core is provided around a wire in which an electric current flows and includes a pair of first magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first sensor is provided in the gap between the first magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The second magnetic core is provided around the wire and includes a pair of second magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first and second magnetic cores form an annular magnetic core. The second sensor is provided in the gap between the second magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The differential output part outputs the differential output of the outputs of the first and second sensors.

The techniques use measurement cells, i.e. test cells, test frames, performance management ATM OAM cells, or performance management frame relay frames. These cells or frames contain a timestamp indicating the time a cell or frame is sent and a delay value indicating a difference between reception and transmission times of the cell or frame.

    摘要: A magnetic domain propagation device has a self-induced drive field for moving a magnetic domain in a thin magnetic layer of ferro-magnetic material. A domain drive layer formed of a current conducting material overlays the magnetic layer in a magnetically coupled relationship. An electric field is applied to the drive layer to produce a uniformly distributed current therein adjacent to the surface of the magnetic layer. A magnetic domain in the magnetic layer alters the uniform current density of the drive layer to produce a perturbed current region adjacent the magnetic domain. A resultant magnetic field is produced by the perturbed current which interacts with the magnetization of the magnetic domain so as to provide an induced drive magnetic field. The velocity and direction of the magnetic domain is controllable by variation of the applied electric field or by varying the current perturbing effects in the drive layer.
