摘要: A method for producing a carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber including the steps of: polymerizing a monomer mixture including an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and a carboxyl group-containing monomer in a solvent; terminating a polymerization reaction by adding a nitrous acid salt and a water-insoluble hydroquinone as polymerization terminators to the polymerization system, thereby obtaining a dispersion of the carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber having a pH of 7 or below; and coagulating the dispersion of the carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber, thereby obtaining the carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber in the solid state, wherein the amount of the nitrous acid salt to be used is 0.15 parts by weight or less relative to 100 parts by weight of the monomer mixture used in the polymerization reaction.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of preparing a multiblock copolymer. This method comprises i) providing a block copolymer comprising at least one PA block and at least one PB block, where PA represents a polymer block comprising one or more units of monomer A and PB represents a polymer block comprising one or more units of monomer B, with monomers A and B being the same or different, where the block copolymer contains a chain transfer agent moiety (CTA); ii) providing a radically polymerizable monomer C; and iii) polymerizing the block copolymer with monomer C under conditions effective to achieve a number average degree of polymerization (Nn) for the multiblock copolymer of up to 100,000 without gelation. The present invention relates to a multiblock copolymer comprising at least one PA block, at least one PB block, and at least one PC block. PC block is positioned between PA block and PB block, where PC block is a rubber block, and where PA represents a polymer block comprising one or more units of monomer A, PB represents a polymer block comprising one or more units of monomer B, and PC represents a polymer block comprising one or more units of monomer C, with monomers A and B being the same or different.

摘要: A method for producing a polymer from a first component and a second component using a reactor (50) offers technical advantages, wherein reaction heat produced in the reactor (50) is discharged via a boiling cooler (40) by supplying gaseous vapors produced in the reactor (50) to the boiling cooler (40). A product flow containing condensed vapors is returned to the reactor (50) from the boiling cooler (40) via a separation vessel (60), and an aqueous phase is separated from the product flow in the separation vessel (60). A system is provided for producing a polymer from a first component and a second component, comprising a reactor (50) and a boiling cooler (40) for discharging reaction heat produced in the reactor (50). A separation vessel (60) is arranged between the boiling cooler (40) and the reactor (50) such that a product flow containing condensed vapors is returned to the reactor (50) from the boiling cooler (40) via the separation vessel (60).

摘要: A process for the production of a graft copolymer composition is presented, which is based on acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) graft copolymers. The graft copolymers obtained by emulsion polymerization and precipitation show improved dewatering behavior after precipitation. Based on this method ASA and ABS graft copolymers with low residual humidity can be obtained. Furthermore, the invention relates to a process for the production of a thermoplastic molding composition comprising at least one thermoplastic styrene copolymer, in particular a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer, the graft copolymer obtained by the process, and optional further components.
