Abstract: A playback device acquires first management information that stores first playback control information and second management information that stores second playback control information. The first playback control information specifies that a video stream of a high-luminance range is to be played, and the second playback control information specifies that a video stream of a standard-luminance range is to be played. A video player acquires and plays the video stream of the high-luminance range based on the first playback control information in a case of playing the content as the high-luminance range. The video player acquires and plays the video stream of the standard-luminance range based on the second playback control information in a case of playing the content as the standard-luminance range.

Abstract: Provided are an eNB, a UE and wireless communication methods. The eNB, in an embodiment, includes circuitry operative to fill a SPS activation/deactivation field in a DCI with a predetermined pattern of bits; and a transmitter operative to transmit the DCI to a first UE for the first UE to start periodically transmitting signals to a second UE or stop periodically transmitting signals to the second UE based on the SPS activation/deactivation field. The DCI is in a SPS format formed by adopting part or all bits of at least one field of DCI format 5 as the SPS activation/deactivation field, and information supposed to be transmitted in the at least one field is indicated with the assistance of or by RRC or MAC signaling.

Abstract: An encoder includes circuitry and memory. Using the memory, the circuitry, in operation, selects an encoding mode from among candidates including a decoder-side motion vector refinement (DMVR) encoding mode and a partition encoding mode. When the DMVR encoding mode is selected, the circuitry: obtains a first motion vector for a first image block; derives a second motion vector from the first motion vector using motion search; and generates a prediction image for the first image block using the second motion vector. When the partition encoding mode is selected, the circuitry: determines a plurality of partitions in a second image block; obtains a third motion vector for each partition; and generates a prediction image for the second image block using the third motion vector, without deriving a fourth motion vector from the third motion vector using motion search.
