    Abstract: Systems, apparatus and methods are described for dynamic demodulation signal resource allocation. PDSCH/PUSCH DMRS enhancement is provided. A dynamic indication of reference signal functionality may be provided in a slot for an additional DM-RS. A configured CSI-RS/SRS may be dynamically indicated to use as an additional DM-RS in a slot. Frequency shift/hopping of DM-RS as a function of OFDM symbol and/or the order of OFDM symbol containing DM-RS may increase frequency density within a slot. DM-RS antenna port aggregation may increase DM-RS frequency density. One or more DM-RS antenna ports may be used to demodulate the same layer. PDCCH DMRS enhancement is provided. Frequency shift/hopping of PDCCH DMRS may be provided as a function of a REG index within an REG bundle, OFDM symbol index, etc. Use of multiple types of REG (e.g., low and high DM-RS) and REG type may be determined based on subcarrier spacing, operating frequency band, etc.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems are disclosed. One method may include a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receiving a transmission including a data unit (DU) on a first set of resources. The WTRU may select an artificial intelligence (AI) filter based on the first set of resources and input the DU or a part of the DU to the selected AI filter. The WTRU may perform AI filtering on the inputted DU or part thereof to output any of: a set of AI-based transmission parameters or an AI-processed DU. The AI-processed DU may include: a first portion of the DU processed by the AI filter and a second portion of the DU processed by a rule-based component, or the DU processed by the AI filter. The WTRU may transmit any of: the AI-processed DU using a set of rule-based transmission parameters, or a rule-based DU using the AI-based transmission parameters.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to monitor physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of a primary cell (PCell) and a secondary cell (SCell). The WTRU may be configured to determine a time duration for PDCCH candidate budgets for a set of symbols based on a subcarrier spacing associated with the PCell and a subcarrier spacing associated with the SCell. The WTRU may be configured to determine a maximum number of PDCCH candidates to allocate to a search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the SCell. The maximum number of PDCCH candidates may be based on a per-cell ratio. The WTRU may be configured to allocate PDCCH candidates for the search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the search space monitoring occasion of the SCell based on the determined maximum number of PDCCH candidates. The WTRU may be configured to decode an allocated PDCCH candidate.

    Abstract: An overall architecture to integrate multicast and broadcast service into a general 5G core network. The architecture may provide methods and systems to switch the delivery mode of transmitting messages to User Equipment (UE)s from a unicast mode to a multicast mode. The method includes triggering events at UE, network functions, content provider or RAN node to initiate the switch process; a procedure for UE initiated switch from unicast to multicast; a procedure for network-initiated switch from unicast mode to multicast mode; and a procedure for RAN initiated switch from unicast mode to multicast mode. The architecture may also provide methods to switch the delivery mode from multicast mode to unicast mode. These methods may include triggering events at UE, network functions, content provider or RAN node to initiate the switch process; a procedure for UE initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode; a procedure for network-initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode; and a procedure for RAN initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode.
