Abstract: Systems, apparatus and methods are described for dynamic demodulation signal resource allocation. PDSCH/PUSCH DMRS enhancement is provided. A dynamic indication of reference signal functionality may be provided in a slot for an additional DM-RS. A configured CSI-RS/SRS may be dynamically indicated to use as an additional DM-RS in a slot. Frequency shift/hopping of DM-RS as a function of OFDM symbol and/or the order of OFDM symbol containing DM-RS may increase frequency density within a slot. DM-RS antenna port aggregation may increase DM-RS frequency density. One or more DM-RS antenna ports may be used to demodulate the same layer. PDCCH DMRS enhancement is provided. Frequency shift/hopping of PDCCH DMRS may be provided as a function of a REG index within an REG bundle, OFDM symbol index, etc. Use of multiple types of REG (e.g., low and high DM-RS) and REG type may be determined based on subcarrier spacing, operating frequency band, etc.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems are disclosed. One method may include a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receiving a transmission including a data unit (DU) on a first set of resources. The WTRU may select an artificial intelligence (AI) filter based on the first set of resources and input the DU or a part of the DU to the selected AI filter. The WTRU may perform AI filtering on the inputted DU or part thereof to output any of: a set of AI-based transmission parameters or an AI-processed DU. The AI-processed DU may include: a first portion of the DU processed by the AI filter and a second portion of the DU processed by a rule-based component, or the DU processed by the AI filter. The WTRU may transmit any of: the AI-processed DU using a set of rule-based transmission parameters, or a rule-based DU using the AI-based transmission parameters.

Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) and methods are disclosed for mitigating radar interference with transmission and reception of RACH preambles. According to a first aspect, one or more first RACH preambles are transmitted based on a first RACH configuration. The WTRU may receive an RAR with an indication that the first RACH configuration is unavailable. The WTRU may then retrieve a second RACH configuration information. The WTRU may then transmit one or more second RACH preambles based on the second RACH configuration and then completes a random access procedure based on the second RACH configuration.

Abstract: As part of carrier assignment and configuration for multicarrier wireless communications, a single uplink (UL) primary carrier may provide control information for multiple concurrent downlink (DL) carriers. Optionally, control information for each DL carrier may be transmitted over paired UL carriers. Carrier switching of UL and/or carriers, including primary and anchor carriers, may occur during normal operation or during handover, and may occur in only the UL or only the DL direction. A unidirectional handover is performed when only an UL carrier or only a DL carrier is switched as part of a handover. Switching of UL and/or DL carriers may be from one component carrier or a subset of carriers to another component carrier, another subset of carriers, or all carriers in the same direction.

Abstract: Techniques may be used for restricted direct discovery in proximity services (ProSe). A ProSe function may receive from a discovery wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) a restricted ProSe Application identity (ID) of an application located at the discoverer WTRU requesting ProSe discovery. The ProSe function may derive a first and second ProSe codes for the discoveree WTRU and discoverer WTRU, and provide the ProSe codes to the discoverer and/or discoveree WTRUs. A ProSe application server may receive a revocation message from an announcing WTRU indicating a revoked WTRU. The ProSe application server may provide a ProSe discovery WTRU ID for the revoked WTRU to a ProSe Function. The ProSe function may instruct the announcing WTRU to stop announcing a ProSe code known by the revoked WTRU, and may provide a new ProSe code to at least one WTRU authorized to discover the announcing WTRU.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a WTRU to operate using multiple schedulers. The WTRU may exchange data with the network over more than one data path, such that each data path may use a radio interface connected to a different network node and each node may be associated with an independent scheduler. For example, a WTRU may establish a RRC connection between the WTRU and a network. The RRC connection may establish a first radio interface between the WTRU and a first serving site of the network and a second radio interface between the WTRU and a second serving site of the network. The RRC connection may be established between the WTRU and the MeNB and a control function may be established between the WTRU and the SCeNB. The WTRU may receive data from the network over the first radio interface or the second radio interface.

Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to monitor physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of a primary cell (PCell) and a secondary cell (SCell). The WTRU may be configured to determine a time duration for PDCCH candidate budgets for a set of symbols based on a subcarrier spacing associated with the PCell and a subcarrier spacing associated with the SCell. The WTRU may be configured to determine a maximum number of PDCCH candidates to allocate to a search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the SCell. The maximum number of PDCCH candidates may be based on a per-cell ratio. The WTRU may be configured to allocate PDCCH candidates for the search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the search space monitoring occasion of the SCell based on the determined maximum number of PDCCH candidates. The WTRU may be configured to decode an allocated PDCCH candidate.
