Abstract: Provided are a compact, highly reliable electric parking brake driving device and an electric parking brake device. This electric parking brake driving device transmits a driving force generated by an electric motor to a parking brake actuator via a speed reduction mechanism, and makes the wheels generate a braking force. A gear body of the electric parking brake driving device is formed by joining a lower body and an upper body. A bracket member is fixed to the lower body, and the electric motor is positioned in the radial direction by engaging with the bracket member. A rubber disk is placed between the lower end surface of the electric motor and the bottom surface of the lower body, and the rubber disk impels the electric motor toward the bracket member in the direction of the rotation axis.

Abstract: A traveling control apparatus includes an operation amount calculating unit for calculating the amount of operations for controlling at least one of a driving mechanism and a braking mechanism of a vehicle to make the difference between a target position and the actual position of the vehicle small; a determining unit for determining whether the actual position follows the target position; and a target position setting unit for setting the target position that changes with time passage, when it is determined by the determining unit that the actual position follows the target position. The target position setting unit sets the target position so a change in the target position with the time passage becomes smaller than that in the case where it is determined that the actual position follows the target position, when it is determined by the determining unit that the actual position does not follow the target position.

Abstract: Provided is a vehicle brake control device which is capable of suitably executing brake assistance processing, even if a sensor for detecting the pressure inside a variable-pressure chamber of a vacuum booster is not provided. A brake device is provided with: a vacuum booster for assisting an operation force inputted to a brake pedal; a master cylinder which generates MC pressure Pmc corresponding to the assisted operation force; wheel cylinders which are provided to wheels, and in which WC pressure is increased as the MC pressure Pmc is increased; and a brake actuator capable of adjusting the WC pressure. When it is determined that emergency braking is requested, a control device of the brake device sets, as the assistance limit pressure, the MC pressure Pmc at that point in time, and operates the brake actuator, to execute brake assistance processing for assisting WC pressure increase.

Abstract: This electric braking device transmits power generated by an electric motor to a pressing member and causes pressing force to be generated by the pressing member with respect to a friction member. The electric braking device includes a lock mechanism. A locked state (in which movement of a locked section in a direction in which pressing force decreases is impossible) is achieved in the lock mechanism by: performing “supplied power amount reduction control” in which the amount of power supplied to the electric motor is reduced while a locking member is maintained in a lockable position; causing the locked section to move in the direction in which pressing force decreases; and causing the locking member and the locked section to engage. When performing supplied power amount reduction control, the amount of power supplied is first reduced by a large reduction gradient and then reduced by a small reduction gradient.

Abstract: An electric parking brake device generates pressing force by pressing friction materials against a brake disc by causing a piston to move by motor operation. A control device executes: parking processing wherein the motor increases the pressing force to an initial pressing force higher than a lower-limit pressing force; and re-drive processing wherein the motor is driven and the pressing force increased at a re-drive time, which is a predetermined time after the end of execution of parking processing. During parking processing, the control device uses one among the initial pressing force and the predetermined time, in addition to a pressing force decrease characteristic corresponding to an assumed temperature set for use in calculation, as a basis to calculate the other of the initial pressing force and the predetermined time such that the pressing force becomes equal to or less than the lower-limit pressing force at the re-drive time.

Abstract: Vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in an upstream portion due to operations of a slip control device during anti-lock control are transmitted to a control pressure chamber via a pressurizing piston of a master cylinder and a control piston of a regulator. During anti-lock control, in contrast, a pressure-increase linear valve and a pressure-reduction linear valve are opened, allowing change in volume of the control pressure chamber, resulting in reduction in stiffness. This reduction suppresses vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in the control pressure chamber, resulting in suppression of vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in a front pressure chamber. As a result, it is possible to reduce the lowering in control accuracy for a hydraulic pressure in a brake cylinder in anti-lock control using the hydraulic pressure in the front pressure chamber, which can well avoid a long braking distance.
