    Abstract: Various examples are directed to isolated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuits comprising a first side that is separated from a second side by an isolator. A first ADC positioned on the first side may be configured to convert a first analog input signal to a first side multi-bit digital signal. A digital modulator on the first side may be configured to convert the first side multi-bit digital signal to a first single-bit stream. A first filter positioned on the second side may be configured to receive the first single-bit stream across the first isolator and to generate a first reconstructed multi-bit digital signal using the first single-bit stream.

    Abstract: A wireless sensor node is described. The wireless sensor node may include a wake-up circuitry configured to awaken the sensor when a request is received. The sensor may be placed in a sleep mode, thus saving battery usage until a wake-up signal requesting use of the sensor is received. Powering of the wake-up circuitry may be supplied through energy captured using an energy harvester. In one example, the energy for powering the wake-up circuitry is extracted from the same signal used for awakening the sensor. The wireless sensor mode may operate in a passive mode, in which the energy for powering the wake-up circuitry is harvested, or in a power supply-assisted mode, in which some of the power is provided by a power supply. High quality factors filters may be used to increase the signal-to-noise ratio of the wake-up signals, thus improving the node's ability to recognize activation requests.

    Abstract: Magnetic sensors may be positioned around an opening for a wire to measure the current flowing through the wire. A non-symmetric positioning of the sensors around the target measurement zone can enable an expanded measurement zone compared to conventional current measurement devices. Further, some sensors may be paired such that a hypothetical line connecting the sensors is tangential to the target measurement zone. Other sensors may be paired such that a hypothetical line between the sensors crosses the target measurement zone. The different pairs of the sensors can enable a reduction in the impact of stray field interference on the measurement of the current flowing through the wire.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for performing DC offset correction of a video signal received over an AC-coupled video link. In one aspect, a transmitter is configured to compute, and provide to a receiver, metadata indicative of a statistical characteristic (e.g., an average or a sum of values) for a group of active pixels of a video signal acquired by a camera. The receiver is configured to compute an analogous statistical characteristic on the video signal received over an AC-coupled video link, and to perform DC offset correction by modifying one or more values of the received video signal based on a comparison of the statistical characteristic computed by the receiver and the one computed by the transmitter and indicated by the received metadata.
