摘要: A gear pump includes a pair of gears having meshed teeth. One of the gears is configured for connection to a source of drive. The gears are received within a housing. The housing has an inlet port configured for connection to a source of fluid and an outlet port. Each of the gears have a shaft rotating within the housing on a bearing on each axial side of each gear. At least one of the bearings associated with each of the pair of gears has a plurality of springs received in recesses to bias the said at least one bearing against an end face of a respective one of the pair of gears. A retention plate holds each of the plurality springs. A method of assembly is also disclosed.

摘要: Aircraft fuel system including a fuel vessel containing a non-mixture fuel. A protective vessel is arranged about the fuel vessel such that the fuel vessel is contained within the protective vessel and a protective space is defined between an outer surface of a vessel wall of the fuel vessel and an inner surface of a vessel wall of the protective vessel. At least one mounting structure fixedly positions the fuel vessel within the protective vessel. A fuel consumption device configured to consume the non-mixture fuel. A fuel output fluidly connects an interior of the fuel vessel to the fuel consumption device, the fuel output being fluidly isolated from the protective space. A relief output fluidly connects the protective space to a relief flow path, the relief output and relief flow path configured to vent gas from the protective space and remove any non-mixture fuel from the protective space.

摘要: A controller for a DC-AC inverter circuit. The circuit comprises two terminals for receiving a DC-link voltage, two or more capacitors connected in series between the two terminals, wherein each capacitor has a capacitor voltage. The circuit is configured to convert an input electrical power to an output electrical power for operating a main electrical load. The controller is configured to, in response to the main electrical load becoming non-operational, configure the circuit into a balancing mode. In the balancing mode the controller configures the circuit to output electrical power to an electrical component, such that the DC-AC inverter circuit remains operational to balance the capacitor voltages while the main electrical load remains non-operational.

摘要: A holdup energy arrangement can include a motor control module configured to connect to motor power electronics to operate an inverter to control a motor. The motor control module can operate at a lower voltage than the motor power electronics. The arrangement can include a power supply operatively connected to the motor control module and configured to provide power the motor control module and a converter operatively connected to the power supply and configured to be electrically connected to a DC link capacitor of the motor power electronics. The arrangement can also include a logic control module configured to control the converter to selectively allow energy to flow from the DC link capacitor, through the converter, and to the power supply to provide holdup energy to the power supply with energy from the DC link capacitor.
