    Abstract: A budgetary control system limits revenue generating transactions that may be entered in an enterprise management system. When a new revenue posting is proposed to the system, various AVC rules are evaluated. The evaluation compares the revenue posting against predetermined budgetary limits. The AVC rules may address various nodes within a revenue postings data structure and within a revenue budget data structure and they may define a test relationship that must be maintained between them. If proposed revenue posting would violate the test relationship of an AVC rule, then the revenue posting may be rejected from the system depending upon the contents of a response field in the AVC rule. Some AVC rules mandate that a violation cause the proposed transaction to be blocked while others may generate a warning notification within the system but admit the new transaction despite the violation.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a shift process in a dual-clutch gearbox having a dual-clutch gearbox input shaft connected to a drive engine, having two friction clutches and having two partial gearboxes. The method comprises the steps of detecting a demand for a shift from a source gear into a target gear, with the source gear and the target gear being assigned to one of the two partial gearboxes, opening the friction clutch which is assigned to the one partial gearbox and closing the friction clutch assigned to the other partial gearbox in order to transmit drive power via an intermediate gear of the other partial gearbox, disengaging the source gear and temporarily exerting pressure in the friction clutch assigned to the one partial gearbox before the engagement of the target gear, with the rotational speed of the one partial gearbox being reduced as a result of the pressure-exerting operation by virtue of a drag torque, opening the friction clutch assigned to the other partial gearbox and closing the friction clutch assigned to the one partial gearbox in order to transfer drive power to the target gear without an interruption in tractive force.

    Abstract: A method for controlling power amplifiers for digital transmission includes converting a digital modulation signal according to envelope elimination and restoration into an amplitude signal and into a phase-modulated carrier signal. The amplitude signal and the phase-modulated carrier signal are combined in a final stage so as to provide a transmit signal. The amplitude signal is automatically monitored by a module that employs a distribution-density function of the amplitude signal in order to determine a direct component error of the amplitude signal. The distribution-density function of the amplitude signal corresponds to a Rayleigh function if the energy of the complex modulation signal is distributed approximately uniformly within a bandwidth being used. If the spectral power density has an approximately rectangular form, the Rayleigh function is used to determine the direct component error. The direct component error is determined from the amplitude signal.

    Abstract: A method for reducing out-of-band emission in an AM transmitter for digital transmission includes generating, from a digital modulation signal, an amplitude signal and a phase-modulated radio frequency signal configured to control the AM transmitter. A digital modulation process is used in which a hole is formed around a 0/0 point so that a zero crossing is avoided by a substantial margin in a vector diagram representation. Thereby a respective bandwidth of the amplitude signal and the phase-modulated radio frequency signal is limited so that the out-of-band emission decreases as a function of a shoulder distance achievable by the AM transmitter at a rate where a spectrum mask is not exceeded.

When such applications operate in conjunction with complicated data structures for revenues and budget, it can become burdensome to define a plurality of RIB rules individually.
