Abstract:
A connector includes a plurality of contacts each including first and second contact pieces provided with first and second contact portions at distal end sides, respectively, that come into contact with conductor portions of two insertable/removable connection objects when the connection objects are inserted, and a connection portion to be connected and secured to a board. The connector further includes a housing that holds the contacts in an array and includes an insertion opening of a shape that allows insertion of the connection objects and a battery from a same direction, and a terminal is arranged in the housing and spaced apart from the contacts in a width direction of the housing, the terminal including third and fourth contact pieces provided with third and fourth contact portions on distal end sides, respectively, configured to come into contact with the conductor portion of one of the connection objects and the battery.
Abstract:
A printed wiring board (1) includes: a base substrate (3); a plurality of pads (15a, 17a) for electrical connection that are disposed at one surface side of the base substrate (3) and at a connection end portion (13) to be connected with another electronic component (50); wirings (9, 11) that are connected with the pads (15a, 17a); and engageable parts (28, 29) that are formed at side edge parts of the connection end portion (13) and are to be engaged with engagement parts (58) of the other electronic component (50) in the direction of disconnection. The flexible printed wiring board (1) further includes reinforcement layers (31, 32) that are disposed at the other surface side of the base substrate (3) and at a frontward side with respect to the engageable parts (28, 29) when viewed in the direction of connection with the other electronic component, and that are formed integrally with the wirings (9).

Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a housing and a required number of contacts held and fixed in the housing. The housing is provided with at least one projection on each of surfaces defining its thickness and is provided with a block formed integrally with or separately from the housing. The block is formed with a through-hole in its one flange portion, into which a fixing pin can be inserted, whereby the electrical connector is mounted on a panel in a floating manner. With this arrangement, the electrical connector can be simply and easily mounted on the panel without increasing manufacturing cost.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a first connector having a connector plate and a plurality of electric contacts thereon, and a second connector having a plurality of electric contact elements provided on conductors arranged on a board. The board is formed with slits around the conductors to support the conductors elastically by parts of said board surrounded by the slits. The first and second connectors are brought into detachable abutment against each other to electrically connect to electric contacts and the electric contact elements of the first and second connectors. The electric contact elements of the second connector each are provided with at least one ridge, preferably plural ridges facing to the electric contact of the first connector. The ridges preferably extend in parallel with the direction of sliding movement of the electric contacts caused by the elastic support of the conductors. With this arrangement, after repeated connections between two connectors a great many times more than thousands, no foreign substance can adhere to the electric contact elements and no longer is there any incorrect electrical connection between the contacts.
Abstract:
A printed wiring board includes one or more substrates, the one or more substrates including at least a first substrate, the first substrate being formed with a pad and a ground layer at any one of main surfaces of the first substrate, the pad being to be electrically connected to a connector as another component, the ground layer being formed to surround the pad from a circumference of the pad and have an inner edge at a location separated from an outer edge of the pad with a predetermined distance, the ground layer being to be grounded to a ground contact.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a connector includes a housing having a fitting opening for the object to be connected, signal contacts retained in the housing in parallel disposition, a pressure member capable of pressing the signal contacts, and power source contacts. The power source contacts are retained besides the signal contacts, have a thickness dimension larger than that of the signal contacts and are to be pressed by the pressure member together with the signal contacts. The power source contacts include a power source contact with a fixation function, having not only the power source connection function but also a function of temporally fixing the object to be connected at a correct insertion position with respect to the signal contacts as well as a function of clamping and fixing the object to be connected in a state of being pressed by the pressure member.
Abstract:
A printed wiring board including: a first substrate on which a plurality of pads to be connected to a connector is arranged to form a front array and a rear array in two rows; a second substrate that is laminated on the first substrate and formed with first wirings connected to first pads of the front array and second wirings connected through vias to second pads of the rear array; engageable parts that are to be engaged with engagement parts of the connector; and one or more reinforcement layers that are provided at the frontward side in the connecting direction than the engageable parts of the first substrate and/or the second substrate. The wirings each have a part formed to have a constant width along the inserting direction to the connector and an expanded-width part expanded to have a wider width than the constant width in the inserting direction of the connector.
