Abstract:
The present invention features a method to determine relative spatial parameters between two coordinate systems, which may be a mold and a region of a substrate in which mold is employed to generate a pattern. The method includes sensing relative alignment between the two coordinate systems at multiple points and determines relative spatial parameters therebetween. The relative spatial parameters include a relative area and a relative shape.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a method and a system for multi-level authentication of a user and a server. The user registration process in the invention enables user to personalize the web page of the server. Further, the user authentication takes place in a multi-step process including entering credentials such as user ID, subset of user's password, subset of shared secret and a One Time Password (OTP). The system of the present invention provides various means of entering the said credentials which prevents phishing attacks.
Abstract:
The capability to handle the 100 μs RPR interrupt and similar interrupts is provided by servicing selected interrupts outside of the operating system. This drastically reduces the latency and overhead associated with servicing the interrupt. A method of handling an interrupt in a computer system comprises receiving the interrupt at the computer system, determining whether the interrupt is a selected interrupt, and performing interrupt processing not involving an operating system of the computer system, if the interrupt is a selected interrupt.
Abstract:
Polyisobutylene (PIB) functionalized with terminal reactive unsaturation is disclosed. Carbocationically polymerized monohalogen-terminated PIB is dehydrohalogenated in a hydrocarbon solvent using an alkoxide of the formula RO-M wherein R is alkyl of at least 5 carbon atoms and M is alkali metal. The PIB obtained has terminal unsaturation which is 100% in the reactive ‘exo’ form which can be converted to succinic anhydride groups (PIB-SA) by the ene reaction with maleic anhydride. The PIB-SA is reactive with amine functional dendrimers to obtain a star-branched polymer having a dendrimer core and PIB branches joined by succinimide linkages. Blends of the star-branched polymer with polypropylene have improved energy absorption properties and controllable moisture/oxygen permeabilities useful in films.

A single-click matchmaking system and method is disclosed providing streamlined, fast, interactive and intelligent search processes for matchmaking. The single-click matchmaking for recommending at least one match comprises receiving a profile of the user based on an input given by the user at an application running on the computing device, predicting a plurality of self-attributes of the user based on the profile of the user, predicting a plurality of preferred attributes based on the plurality of self-attributes of the user, accessing a memory configured to store data corresponding to a plurality of entities, determining the match from the plurality of entities and recommending the at least one match to display at the computing device of the user.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a paddle wheel mechanism for a pool cleaner. The paddle wheel mechanism includes a housing, a paddle wheel shaft supported by the housing, a first paddle wheel, and a second paddle wheel. The housing directs fluid from a fluid path of the pool cleaner into a first flow path and a second flow path. The first paddle wheel is supported by the paddle wheel shaft and is positioned within the housing along the first flow path. The second paddle wheel is supported by the paddle wheel shaft and is positioned within the housing along the second flow path. The first paddle wheel rotates responsive to fluid directed along the first flow path, and the second paddle wheel rotates responsive to fluid directed along the second flow path.
Abstract:
An extract from green coffee beans is disclosed which contains polyphenols and bioactive compounds e.g. Chlorogenic acids in a significantly higher concentration (70-80%) than in extracts of prior art methods (40-50%). The extract has greater ability to quench oxidative stress and destroy free radicals and offers health benefits due to its anti-obesity, anti-diabetic, antihypertensive, anti-tumor and anti-acid properties. The higher concentration of bioactive compounds has been achieved by use of polar solvents having polarity less than that of alcohols used for extraction. The use of such solvents of lower polarity such as n-Butyl alcohol, ethyl acetate or acetone results in extraction of enriched Chlorogenic acid fractions into the extract, leaving polar impurities behind in aqueous medium. The extract obtained has significantly higher content of polyphenols and chlorogenic acids ranging from 70-80% and a distinctive HPLC profile.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for low-complexity encoding (compression) of broad class of signals, which are typically not well modeled as sparse signals in either time-domain or frequency-domain. First, the signal can be split in time-segments that may be either sparse in time domain or sparse in frequency domain, for example by using absolute second order differential operator on the input signal. Next, different encoding strategies can be applied for each of these time-segments depending in which domain the sparsity is present.
Abstract:
A multipurpose computing device includes a solver receiving a working matrix and an initial matrix corresponding to a system of equations and residual data; and an adapter receiving the initial matrix as well as a filtering matrix and calculates a working matrix corresponding to an equation system solved by the solver. The working matrix checks a stability condition with the initial matrix, comprising a comparison of two matrix products including the filtering matrix or the transpose thereof, and the initial matrix and the working matrix, respectively. The adapter renumbers the initial matrix and the filtering matrix in order to produce a modified matrix and a modified filtering matrix using an ordering rule that is a function of a dependency condition, and recursively calculates the working matrix representation with these matrices. The solver works recursively on the working matrix to provide a solution without inverting the initial matrix.
