Abstract:
In an internal combustion engine, fuel is directly injected into at least one combustion chamber at least during a compression stroke in such a way that a stratified mixture is present in the combustion chamber. This mixture is then externally ignited. The fuel is introduced during the compression stroke by at least one main injection and an ignition injection, the ignition injection taking place immediately before an ignition and producing at least essentially no torque.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a system and method for migrating web servers. More particularly, the present invention is directed to transferring configuration and content information from a source server to a target server, including any web sites, applications, features, directory structures and sever side extensions that existed on the source server. The present invention provides a modular script based tool, that can be incorporated or customized by an administrator as needed, and executed on any one of a number of operating platforms or systems. The tool of the present invention comprises an authentication module, a parser module, a work items module; and a verifier module. In combination, these modules obtain one or more informational items pertaining to a source web server, parse the one or more informational items to generate one or more task items, utilize the task items to perform a transfer, and perform health checks on the target server, to ensure the content and configuration of the target web server.
Abstract:
In order to provide a component of a fuel cell unit that has an electric insulation effect at the operating temperature of the fuel cell unit and that has an adequate electrically insulating effect and an adequate mechanical strength also at a high operating temperature of the fuel cell unit, it is proposed that the component comprises a basic body and at least one electrically insulating insulation layer, which is disposed on the basic body and contains aluminium oxide, wherein the insulation layer is produced by anodizing an aluminium-containing layer disposed on the basic body.
Abstract:
In order to provide a method for producing a soldered joint between a substrate for at least one electrode and a contact element of a fuel cell unit which results in the substrate being reliably soldered to the contact element but without impairing the functioning of the substrate by surplus solder material, it is proposed that the method for producing the soldered joint between the substrate and the contact element comprise the following process steps: applying a mixture, which comprises a soldering material and a bonding agent wherein the proportion of the solder material in the mixture amounts to at most approximately 60 percent by weight, to the contact element and/or the substrate; bringing the substrate and the contact element into contact; soldering the substrate and the contact element by heating them up to a soldering temperature.
Abstract:
In a process for manufacturing metal sheet gaskets coated with elastomer, as are often used as cylinder head gaskets or as compressor gaskets in refrigerant circuits, it is proposed that the elastomeric coating be applied to the individual metal sheet in a spray coating process in order to be able to carry out the coating with elastomer in a more cost-efficient manner.
Abstract:
A new variety of Asiatic hybrid lily plant, particularly distinguished by its large flowers, unusual color and long persistence, both on the plant and as cut flowers. It is characterized by its regular and attractive inflorescence, the greenish/pink color of its buds, the large flowers, the special way of its tepal spotting and the brilliant salmon pink color of its flowers with an apricot yellow throat.
Abstract:
A multi-service electrical outlet module which combines at a single outlet location, the outlets required for making connection to various electrical systems such as power, telephone, computer systems, television antenna etc.
Abstract:
A fastener assembly for use in the blind fastening of first and second parts having aligned apertures extending therethrough with the aperture in the second part being larger than the aperture in the first part. A stud member with a screw threaded shank is adapted to be projected through the aligned apertures with the head being positioned on the outer side of the first part and being larger than the aperture in the first part. A threaded nut is adapted to be coupled with the shank and is smaller in diameter than the aperture in the second parts so it can be projected therethrough and to be located on the opposite side of the second part from the first part. A helical spring having a normal outer diameter larger than the aperture in the first part and smaller than the aperture in the second part is assembled around the stud in engagement with the nut. The spring is expandable to have a larger diameter. A second biasing spring is preloaded and bears against the under surface of the first part and the nut so that when the assembled shank portion of the stud and the springs and nut are inserted through the aperture in the second part a biasing force is applied to the nut substantially in an axial direction. Thereafter, upon rotation of the stud the nut is retained against rotation to permit axial movement thereof along the shank to apply a biasing force to the helical spring and expand the spring into engagement with the surface of the second part and retain the second part in fixed relation to the first part. The same biasing action will occur to permit relative rotation in loosening the fastener and permitting disassembly of the first and second part.
Abstract:
A drilling apparatus has a housing, a motor in the housing, a drive spindle rotatable about an axis on the housing, a chuck body, and a plurality of jaws shiftable in the chuck body. First and second elements interconnected by a screw thread and engaged between the body and the jaws for shifting the jaws on the housing. A drive sleeve rotationally fixed to the first element is drivable by the motor.
