Abstract: A drive tray assembly is disclosed for placing drives (e.g., hard disk drives) in a computer chassis in a rotated orientation and without the need for additional tools. The drive tray assembly includes an outer tray on a hinge capable of being rotated away from the computer chassis during drive changes. An inner tray, upon which a drive may be placed, is coupled to the outer tray. When the outer tray is moved to a closed position within the computer chassis, pressing on a handle can cause the inner tray to move from a disengaged position to an engaged position, thus connecting the drive to a drive backplane within the computer chassis.

Abstract: An example compute cabinet assembly includes an equipment room, an air inlet channel coupled to the equipment room, and a cabinet fan module coupled to the equipment room. The compute cabinet assembly further includes first and second air outlet channels. The first air outlet channel extends along a side of the equipment room towards an outlet of the first air outlet channel. The second air outlet channel extends along another side of the equipment room towards an outlet of the second air outlet channel. The compute cabinet assembly also includes electric fans positioned in the cabinet fan module. The electric fans are configured to create airflow originating at an inlet of the air inlet channel, extending through the equipment room and cabinet fan module, and exiting the compute cabinet assembly at the outlets of the first and second air outlet channels.

Abstract: A cable distribution box includes a base plate, a proximal wall extending from a first side of the base plate, a distal wall extending from a second side of the base plate, a latch formed on a third side of the base plate, and a cover plate extending from the proximal wall. The latch is configured to secure the cable distribution box to a chassis. The cover plate has a center portion that projects towards the base plate, such that the center portion is configured to wrap a cable thereon. The cover plate is foldable along a length of the proximal wall, relative to the base plate in a clamshell fashion, to enclose the wrapped cable between the cover plate and the base plate. The cover plate includes a locking mechanism that is configured to engage the distal wall, and secure the cover plate onto the base plate.

Abstract: An apparatus simulates cable routing for determining signal integrity between electronic components within a computer chassis. The apparatus includes a base plate simulating a computer chassis base. The base plate includes a top surface. The apparatus further includes a plurality of reconfigurable mounting fixtures, each allowing temporary mounting of a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) to a respective reconfigurable mounting fixture. Each of the plurality of reconfigurable mounting fixtures is temporarily mountable anywhere on the top surface of the base plate. The apparatus further includes a cable having a first end connector that allows a connection to a first PCBA, and a second end connector that allows a connection to a second PCBA.

Abstract: A mounting system for an electronic device is disclosed. The mounting system includes a mounting plate; a plurality of fasteners for coupling the mounting plate with the electronic device; a single main gear mounted on the mounting plate; a plurality of secondary gears coupled, respectively, to the plurality of fasteners; and a plurality of intermediate gears mounted on the mounting plate and rotationally coupled between the single main gear and the plurality of secondary gears. Abstract: A cable clip assembly for a computing device includes a primary clip with a primary surface between first and second primary ends.
