    摘要: The A/D converter realizes a high-rate and high-precision A/D conversion using amplifier circuits. Each amplifier circuit amplifies a difference between the voltage of an analog signal to be converted and a predetermined reference voltage. Each bank of holding circuits holds the output signals of an oscillator circuit, the levels of which signals are variable with the passage of time, when the output voltage of the associated amplifier circuit exceeds a predetermined value. The signals held in each said bank of holding circuits are output as a value representing the amplification time of the associated amplifier circuit. An operation means identifies a first amplifier circuit having a reference voltage higher than the analog signal voltage and a second amplifier circuit having a reference voltage lower than the analog signal voltage based on the values representing the amplification times, and determines a voltage, at a point interiorly dividing a difference between the reference voltages of the first and the second amplifier circuits by a ratio of the amplification time of the second amplifier circuit to the amplification time of the first amplifier circuit, as the analog signal voltage, thereby computing a digital value representing the analog signal.

    摘要: By making a folded waveform of a folding circuit sharp, the number of elements used in an ADC is reduced and less power consumption is achieved. A folding circuit is composed of a plurality of master-comparator latches, a pair of wiring means for master-to-slave connection, and a slave latch. By means of the wiring means, the non-inverted outputs and the inverted outputs of the master-comparators latches are alternately drawn in the order of magnitude of reference voltages, superimposed, and fed into a pair of inputs of the slave latch. A Gray code signal is directly encoded by an encoder according to the output of the slave latch. A folded signal, which is the output of the folding circuit, takes a sharp waveform. The number of slave latches can be reduced. No XOR gates are required.

    摘要: Provided is a millimeter wavelength range transceiver device which can improve phase noise characteristics and which can also independently calibrate each respective local oscillator of a transmission unit and a reception unit. This millimeter wavelength range transceiver device comprises a transmission unit (10), a reception unit (20), and a reference frequency signal generator (30). The transmission unit (10) comprises a transmission-use local oscillator (11) comprising an injection-locked oscillator, a transmission-use mixer (12) for mixing the signal from the transmission-use local oscillator and a transmission baseband signal, and a transmission-use amplifier (13) for amplifying the signal from the transmission-use mixer to a transmission-use antenna (15). The reception unit (20) comprises a reception-use amplifier (25) for amplifying a signal from a reception-use antenna (24), a reception-use local oscillator (22) comprising an injection-locked oscillator, and a reception-use mixer (23) for mixing the signal from the reception-use local oscillator and the signal from the reception-use amplifier in order to output a reception baseband signal. A reference frequency signal generator (30) injects a reference frequency signal into the transmission-and-reception-use local oscillators (11 and 22).

The passage-forming substrate is provided with a concave portion formed in a joint surface to the nozzle plate. The concave portion has a wall surface inclined from a side adjacent to the nozzle plate to an inside of the concave portion. An angle between the joint surface and the inclined wall surface of the concave portion is smaller than an angle between the joint surface and a wall surface of the pressure generating chamber in a region contacting the joint surface. The inclined wall surface of the concave portion is provided with a plurality of protrusions.

    摘要: A current driver generates an output current according to an input signal. The current driver includes R current copy circuits and an output current generator where R is a natural number. Each of the current copy circuits stores a current having a given current value and input from the outside in a storage mode and outputs the stored current in an output mode. The output current generator obtains a current or the sum of currents from a non-negative integer number of the current copy circuits selected in accordance with the input signal, and thereby generates an output current.
