Abstract:
Described herein is a laminate including at least one first layer of at least one first metal and at least one further layer of a polymer composition (PC). Also described herein is a process for producing the laminate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the production of saturated fiber structures. The process includes (a) introduction of a fiber structure onto a conveyor belt; (b) application of a solution including monomer and optionally including activator, and optionally including catalyst in at least one line to the fiber structure; (c) passage of the fiber structure with the solution through at least one roll pair in which pressure is exerted on the fiber structure; and (d) cooling of the saturated fiber structure, so that the monomer solidifies.

Abstract:
A process for the production of a polyamide is disclosed. The process for production of a polyamide (P) comprises mixing a first mixture (M1), which comprises at least one lactam and at least one catalyst, with a second mixture (M2), which comprises at least one lactam, at least one activator and at least one amine, to give a polymerizable mixture (pM) and then polymerization of the polymerizable mixture (pM) to give the polyamide (P). A polyamide (P) obtainable by the process of the invention is also disclosed, as well as moldings made of the polyamide (P).
Abstract:
A process for the production of fiber-reinforced components or semifinished products is provided, where fibers are saturated with monomer. The process includes at least one of adding flakes including fibers and adding individual fibers. For this, the fibers, the monomer, and the flakes including fibers and/or the individual fibers are added to an injection-molding machine and forced into an injection mold, whereupon polymerization of the monomer is completed in the injection mold. Alternatively a fiber structure on a conveyor belt is saturated with a solution including a monomer, optionally including an activator, and optionally including a catalyst. In a following step, individual fibers and/or flakes including fibers are distributed on the saturated fiber structure, the fiber structure is passed through a roll pair in which pressure is exerted onto the fiber structure, and finally the saturated fiber structure is cooled so that the monomer solidifies.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the production of reinforced plastics components. The process includes a) provision of at least one reinforcing material in a cavity of a molding device, b) provision of at least one starting material in a container, c) insertion of the container into the molding device, d) introduction of the at least one starting material from the container into the cavity, wherein the at least one starting material penetrates at least to some extent through the at least one reinforcing material, e) hardening of the at least one starting material with the at least one reinforcing material to give a reinforced plastics component, and f) demolding of the reinforced plastics component. The invention further relates to a device and to an assembly for the production of reinforced plastics components.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to polyamide composites containing graphene, a method for producing them and to their use as or for producing a material with gas barrier and/or electroconductive and/or thermally conductive properties and/or a mechanically reinforced material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing polymers from monomers and/or oligomers by adding a liquid comprising the monomers and/or oligomers dropwise to a continuous liquid phase in a reactor, the continuous liquid phase being immiscible with the liquid comprising the monomers and/or oligomers, and the monomers and/or oligomers reacting in the continuous liquid phase to give the polymer. The liquid comprising the monomers and/or oligomers is shaped to droplets outside the continuous liquid phase, which are subsequently introduced into the continuous liquid phase. The invention further relates to a reactor for performing the process, comprising a tube through which a continuous liquid phase flows, and means of generating droplets, the means of generating droplets being arranged such that the droplets are generated outside the continuous liquid phase and then introduced into the continuous liquid phase.
