摘要: An air filter assembly has a fan, pre-filter, a main filter, and a control circuit which generates various signals to the user as to when the pre-filter and the main filter should be replaced. The control circuit detects when the pre-filter should be replaced from two conditions: a first pre-filter replacement condition based decreased air flow, and a second pre-filter replacement condition based on cumulative operating time. The control circuit detects when the main filter should be replaced based on a formula containing a number of the occurrences of the first pre-filter replacement condition and a number of occurrences of the second pre-filter replacement condition. The control circuit also detects a main filter replacement condition based on cumulative operating time of main filter. The main filter can have a fuse that is blown when the main filter should be replaced.

摘要: To provide an improved solderability for mounting an electronic component onto a circuit board, a package of an electronic component (1) is formed by bonding together a base (3) made of glass and a lid (2). Outer electrodes (8) and (18) are formed on a bottom surface of the base (3), and the outer electrodes (8) and (18) are respectively connected to through electrodes (7) and (17). The outer electrodes (8) and (18) each have a laminated structure of three CrAu layers, that is, from a Cr layer (first layer) to an Au layer (sixth layer). When the outer electrodes (8) and (18) are soldered onto a circuit board, the Au layers as the second, fourth, and sixth layers are dissolved into solder, whereas the Cr layers as the third and fifth layers, which hardly form an intermetallic compound with solder, are separated to remain in solder.

摘要: A brake disc capable of sufficiently absorbing thermal stress associated with thermal expansion and deformation of the braking section. The brake disc includes a mounting section for attachment to a wheel, a braking section located at the outside circumference of the mounting section for brake pads to be brought into sliding contact therewith, and a connecting arm section for connecting each of the plurality of mounting portions of the mounting section and the braking section. Connecting arms in the connecting arm section each extend from their respective ones of the plurality of mounting portions in one side direction different from the radial direction of the braking section to reach the braking section, and adjacent mounting portions are connected to each other at least through a connecting arm.

摘要: An intake device for an internal combustion engine includes a throttle body (1) that forms an intake passage (1a). A throttle valve (2) is arranged within the intake passage. A pipe member (26) is connected to the throttle body, wherein the pipe member forms a communication passage (26a) communicating with the intake passage. An engagement device (53,63; 85,87; 92,63) is provided between the throttle body and the pipe member. The engagement device includes at least one engagement protrusion (53; 85; 92) and at least one engagement recess (63; 87M). When the engagement protrusion and the engagement recess are engaged with each other, detachment of the throttle body and the pipe member from each other is restricted. The assembly process is simplified by a lack of separate components such as clamps and bolts, relying instead upon a typical snap-fit connection.

摘要: An improved brake system is provided for a vehicle including at least front and rear wheels. The brake system comprises a braking force generating mechanism, a brake lever assembly and a foot-operated brake pedal. The brake force generating mechanism applies a braking force to at least a front wheel or a rear wheel of the vehicle. The brake lever assembly includes a hand-operated lever and a force actuator. The force actuator moves between at least first and second positions so as to selectively actuate the brake force generating mechanism to produce a braking force. The force actuator interacts with the hand-operated lever such that movement of the hand-operated lever moves the force actuator from the first position to at least the second position. The force actuator also interacts with the brake pedal, which are coupled together by a cable. Movement the brake pedal also moves the force actuator from the first position to the second position.
