    摘要: The electromagnetically actuatable valve includes a valve seat support and a valve needle, both of which are of elongated configuration As a result, the spray discharge point of the valve is advantageously set far forward, which makes possible highly targeted spray discharge. A joining part joining the armature and the valve closure element is configured as a punched and bent part, and has over the majority of its axial extension an open profile differing from a circular cross section. The valve needle thus possesses a mass which is lower as compared with conventional valve needles of identical overall size. The valve is particularly suitable for use in a fuel injection system of a mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine.

    摘要: A fuel injector has a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator, which actuates a valve-closure member cooperating with a valve-seat surface a sealing seat. An hydraulic coupler includes a master piston, a slave piston, and a coupler volume formed in-between, the coupler volume being connected to a compensating chamber via a throttle. An elastic flexible section delimits the compensating chamber at least partially, and the coupler volume, the throttle, and the compensating chamber are filled with an hydraulic medium. The flexible section exerts a pressure on the hydraulic medium due to prestressing, and the force of a compression spring, which is braced either directly and/or via fixed components on the slave piston and the master piston, is directed with an initial stress in such a way that the force enlarges the coupler volume.

The temperature compensation device includes a needle driving sleeve which surrounds a valve needle shoulder of the valve needle and, together with a needle driving shoulder, surrounds the valve needle in sections. In addition, the needle driving sleeve together with the valve needle encloses a temperature compensation space, and the temperature compensation space is connected to a fuel inlet of the fuel injector through a directional valve for filling the temperature compensation space with fuel.

The actuator seal includes a sealing element on the inlet end and a sealing element on the injection end, both designed to be elastically deformable and frictionally engaged with an actuating sleeve. The actuator acts on valve closing body by way of the actuating sleeve, thus at least partially compensating the forces generated by the fuel pressure and acting on the actuator by way of the actuating sleeve.
