    Abstract: Provided is a front-side filter which can be easily attached to a cover of a display device, but is difficult to detach from the cover even after long term use and further provided is a PDP device including the same filter. The front-side filter includes a filter base having at least one function among a near-infrared ray shielding function, and a neon light shielding function, and an electromagnetic wave shielding function; and an antireflective layer with an edge pattern, formed on a side of the filter base in such a way that the entire edge portion or a part of the edge portion of the filter base is exposed through the edge pattern to provide a fixing means formed in the edge pattern. The plasma display panel device includes a case, a cover for covering an upper surface of the case, a driving circuit board enclosed by the case, a panel assembly disposed on the driving circuit board and enclosed by the case, and a front-side filter including a filter base having at least one function among a near-infrared ray shielding function, and a neon light shielding function, and an electromagnetic wave shielding function; and an antireflective layer with an edge pattern, formed on a side of the filter base in such a way that the entire edge portion or part of the edge portion of the filter base is exposed through the edge pattern to provide a fixing means formed in the edge pattern.

    Abstract: A reliability evaluation system comprises a reliability evaluation circuit and a reliability evaluation control circuit. The reliability evaluation circuit includes a stress device array and a stress voltage generating block configured to receive a control voltage, generate stress voltages generated by using two reference voltages, and apply the stress voltages to the unit devices in a stress mode via first I/O lines according to the control voltage. The stress device array includes the unit devices that are matrix-arrayed. Each of the unit devices has a first terminal connected to one of the first I/O lines and a second terminal connected to one of second I/O lines. The reliability evaluation control circuit is configured to generate the control voltage and the two reference voltages, and test reliability of the unit devices by using the first I/O lines and the second I/O lines.

    Abstract: A WLAN distributed/opportunistic scheduling (WDOS) method for acquiring a multi-user diversity gain is disclosed. The WDOS method allows a transmitter (i.e., a transmission user) to observe channel conditions of receivers (i.e., reception users), and commands the transmitter to transmit packets to a specific receiver having a relative good channel condition. The WDOS method uses a modified RTS/CTS exchange method to perform the channel probing. If the transmitter broadcasts the BRTS frame, each receiver transmits a CTS frame after the lapse of its backoff period. According to the reception signal strength distribution, the backoff delay time minimizes the number of CTS collisions irrespective of the number of receivers, reduces an amount of channel probing overheads, and maximizes a multi-user diversity gain. The better the relative channel condition, the lower the backoff delay time.
