摘要： To 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene resin, a blend of polypropylene resin and elastomer, or a copolymer of polypropylene resin and elastomer, 10 to 200 parts by weight of a silicic acid compound such as zeolite or talc were added to form a film for a supporting substrate. Using this film as a supporting substrate, an adhesive layer comprising an acrylic adhesive is provided on the supporting substrate to obtain a medical adhesive tape or sheet according to the present invention. An absorbent pad is provided at a central region on the surface of the adhesive layer to obtain a first-aid adhesive tape.

摘要： A thermoelectric conversion module having a large capacity and a curved surface which can be secured to a corresponding curved surface of a base member is manufactured by inserting N type and P type semiconductor strips into through holes formed in a honeycomb structural body, filling spaces between walls defining the through holes and the semiconductor strips with an electrically insulating filler members made of an easily deformable material such as polyimide resin and silicone resin, cutting the honeycomb structural body into a plurality of thermoelectric conversion module main bodies each having a desired surface configuration, and providing metal electrodes on both surfaces of a thermoelectric conversion module main body such that alternate N type and P type semiconductor elements are connected in cascade.

摘要： A latex for immobilization of a physiologically active substance is prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising:(a) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monome4r;(b) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a vinyl monomer having a sulfonic acid group;(c) 1 to 20 parts by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer; and(d) 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of a polyfunctional monomer for internal cross-linking; in water using a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator in the absence of an emulsifying agent. An antigen or antibody or a hapten can be covalently bound to particles of the latex to form a reagent for use in immuno nephelometry.

摘要： A film containing copper is deposited on a ceramic body, and the film and the ceramic body are heated in an oxidizing atmosphere, whereby the copper is oxidized and bonded to the body to form a metal oxide film thereon. Alternatively, a film containing copper oxide is deposited on a ceramic body, and the film and the ceramic body are heated in a non-reducing atmosphere, whereby the film is bonded to the body to form a metal oxide film thereon. A metal film consisting mainly of copper is deposited on the metal oxide film. The metal film and the metal oxide film are heated at a temperature not exceeding 1083.degree. C. in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, whereby a copper film is formed on the body.
