    摘要: Anti-FCV (feline calicivirus) feline-type recombinant antibody effective for treatment, prevention and diagnosis of FCV infection and a gene fragment useful for preparation of said antibody are provided. Cell line 1D7 capable of producing a mouse monoclonal antibody having an excellent FCV-neutralizing activity was constructed and a gene fragment coding for the V region in charge of the FCV-specific binding of said antibody was obtained. This gene fragment and the gene coding for the constant region of the feline antibody are used to give a chimeric anti-FCV recombinant antibody. The obtained recombinant antibody is a novel antibody and is useful for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of feline virus infections, particularly feline calicivirus infection, with high safety in administration into cats.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus including a conveyance unit to convey a transfer medium, a first image forming unit to form a monochrome image transferred at a first transfer position onto the transfer medium, and a second image forming unit disposed downstream from the first image forming unit in a direction of conveyance of the transfer medium, including an intermediate transfer body to form a multi-colored toner image on the intermediate transfer body. The multi-colored toner image is transferred onto the transfer medium at a second transfer position. The conveyance unit is separated from the intermediate transfer body at the second transfer position in a monochrome mode to form the monochrome image using only the first image forming unit, and contacts the intermediate transfer body at the second transfer position in a full-color mode to form a full-color image using both the first and second image forming units.

The controller controls the transfer bias output device to supply a transfer bias from a time at which a first position of a photosensitive member arrives at a transfer position after the charging bias output device starts supplying a charging bias. An initial value of the transfer bias is controlled to be smaller than a normal set value for a predetermined time period (Tc) which is a time after the transfer bias starts to be supplied and within a time corresponding to a rise time (Ta) during which a surface potential of the photosensitive member reaches a predetermined potential after the charging bias starts to be output. The first position of the photosensitive member is a position at which the charging device start charging the photosensitive member.

    摘要: A process for preparing an inclusion body-forming protein is provided. A nucleic acid fragment consisting of a nucleotide sequence coding for a modified alkaline phosphatase signal peptide (modified APSP) where leucine at the 13th position in the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 is substituted with proline and/or alanine at the 21st position is substituted with the other amino acid, downstream of which nucleotide sequence is bound a nucleotide sequence of a gene of a protein of interest, and a process for preparing an inclusion body-forming protein consisting of the following steps: (1) preparing an expression vector in which a nucleic acid fragment is incorporated consisting of a nucleotide sequence coding for a modified signal peptide downstream of which is bound a nucleotide sequence of a gene of a protein of interest, (2) preparing a host cell transformed with the expression vector that produces an inclusion body-forming protein, and (3) purifying the inclusion body-forming protein from culture obtained by culturing the host cell that produces the inclusion body-forming protein. The above other amino acid is selected from the group consisting of aspartic acid, glutamic acid, lysine, histidine, phenylalanine and tyrosine.
