    Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for wirelessly charging are provided within a vehicular environment. The wireless charging system comprises a seatbelt receptacle containing a transmit coil integrated therein for transmitting a charging signal to a battery or powering a battery operated device. A repeater coil can be wirelessly coupled to the transmit coil via the seatbelt's buckle, as a buckle repeater coil or a retrofit cover repeater coil. Additional repeater coils may be added to a shoulder strap, a lap strap, or other portions of the seat belt harness for additional charging points. The additional repeater coils are slideable to adjust for different body sizes. One or more portable devices having receive coils can be charged or powered wirelessly from the transmit coil in the seatbelt receptacle, the repeater coil of the seatbelt buckle or cover, and/or the additional adjustable strap repeater coils.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method for appearance search for incident response. One embodiment provides a method for appearance searching for incident response. The method includes receiving a search criteria at a command server and initiating an appearance search based on the search criteria. The appearance search is performed on a plurality of responding devices communicatively connected to the command server. The method further includes receiving, at the command server, an update to the search criteria and determining, using the command server, a confidence level of the update based on weights assigned to each a plurality of parameters of the update. The method also includes creating, using the command server, an updated search criteria based on the search criteria and the update when the confidence level of the update exceeds a predetermined confidence threshold and pushing the updated search criteria for the appearance search to the plurality of responding devices.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for determining priority discrepancies between audio data and records data. In one example, the system includes an electronic computing device. The electronic computing device compares audio data associated with a public safety incident to records data associated with the public safety incident, determines discrepancies between the audio data and the records data, and determines an organization and a type associated with the public safety incident. The electronic computing device also determines, based on the organization and the type, priority discrepancies included in the discrepancies and generates a geographical map that includes the priority discrepancies and that is configured for display on a display device.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for a collaborative work environment. One system includes a monitoring computer communicatively coupled to a first computer-aided workstation and a second computer-aided workstation. The monitoring computer includes an electronic processor configured to receive, from the first computer-aided workstation, a first datastream associated with a first incident, receive, from the second computer-aided workstation, a second datastream associated with at least one selected from the group consisting of a second incident and a user of the second computer-aided workstation, and analyze each of the first datastream and the second datastream to determine a collaboration recommendation. The electronic processor is further configured to transmit, to the first computer-aided workstation, a first request to participate in a collaborative work session and, to the second computer-aided workstation, a second request to participate in the collaborative work session in response to determining the collaboration recommendation.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting near real-time geographic mass messaging requests. One example method includes receiving a geographic mass messaging request via a transceiver, the geographic mass messaging request including a message, a geographic reference, and a requesting agency identifier, and having at least one request characteristic. The method includes assigning, with an electronic processor, a priority to the geographic mass messaging request based on an electronically stored alerting authority policy and at least one selected from the group consisting of the requesting agency identifier, the geographic reference, and the at least one request characteristic. The method includes, responsive to determining that the priority does not meet a priority threshold, transmitting one of a request denied message and a request modification proposal via the transceiver to the requesting agency.
