摘要: To prevent deformation of a chassis due to an impact force in an optical disc apparatus, there is provided a tray for inserting/ejecting an optical disc into/from an apparatus body, with the chassis connected thereto through vibration proof materials in plural portions in a surface opposite a disc placing surface. The tray has projecting portions projecting in a chassis direction in positions facing the chassis in peripheral portions of the plural connecting portions. The projecting portion is located at a position higher than a tray plane with which the vibration proof material comes into contact, and lower than the surface of a chassis facing the tray. When the vibration proof material is compressed and deformed due to the impact force, the projecting portion comes into contact with the chassis facing surface, to reduce the amount of deformation of the vibration proof material and thereby prevent deformation of the chassis.

摘要: A display device comprises a display panel, a scanning circuit section for supplying a scanning signal to scanning lines of the display panel, and a scanning control circuit section for supplying an n-bit (n: 2 or more positive integer) input numeral signal and an inverted replica of the input numeral signal to the scanning circuit section. In the display device, a scanning circuit section comprises an input connection line group having sets of input connection lines for receiving bits of the input numeral signal and bits of the inverted replica of the input numeral signal, a plurality of logic circuit sections, less in number than the scanning lines, for responding to combinations of the input numeral signal and its inverted replica, and an output distributing unit for assigning an output from one logic circuit section to at least two scanning lines. It is, therefore, possible to suppress an increase in the number of connection lines and of the logic circuit sections involving a high definition of a display device and hence to manufacture a display device in a high yield.

摘要: A multi-layered solid state image sensor senses a three-dimensional optical image introduced through a lens having a constant focal length and a constant focal depth. The image sensor has a plurality of transparent layers stacked together with reflection preventive coating films sandwiched therebetween. A cell matrix is provided on each of the transparent layers. Cells included in each cell matrix are arranged so as not to overlap each other so that image light can effectively reach the lowermost layer. The cell matrices defining imaging surfaces on the stacked transparent layers become operative simultaneously for image sensing. Therefore, just-focused image planes at different focal points are formed on the cell matrices.

摘要: According to an image pickup device, a swing-driver unit is provided for vibrating an image sensor unit, thereby causing the image sensor unit to perform an image pickup operation in such a manner as to periodically shift to different sampling positions at different time points in one frame period. The swing-driver comprises a pair of plate-like bimorph piezoelectric elements for stably supporting the image sensor unit. The image sensor unit and the piezoelectric elements are sealed in a ceramic frame body in a compact manner. The electrical connection between the image sensor unit and lead wires formed on the frame is performed by a flexible film connector. The electrical connection between the piezoelectric elements and the lead wires is performed by wiring patterns preformed on the frame.

摘要: A solid-state optical device with a plurality of cells having a plurality of optical functions is disclosed. Each of the cells comprises a transparent substrate, an anti-reflection film formed on the lower surface of the transparent substrate, a MOS transistor and a capacitor formed on the upper surface of the transparent substrate, a liquid crystal display device formed on the MOS transistor and capacitor, and window for leading a light signal incident on the liquid crystal display device from above to the transparent substrate. At least either a channel region of the MOS transistor and a region intervening between pair electrodes of the capacitor is formed of a photoconductive film. A transparent medium intervenes between the transparent substrate and photoconductive film such that light signal led through the window to the transparent substrate is reflected by an object disposed in contact with anti-reflection film to reach the photoconductive film, thereby generating carriers therein.
