摘要: The present invention relates to a microchip 1 having a translucent member 11, a flow channel 10 or a cell formed at a side of the translucent member 11 where light enters, and an aperture 16 formed at a position corresponding to the flow channel 10 or the cell at a side of a translucent member 10 where light goes out. The aperture 16 has a light go-through surface 17 which causes light flux being emitted from the flow channel 10 or the cell to go through and a light reflective surface 18 that totally reflects the incident light flux. A width size W1 of the light go-through surface 17 is smaller than a width size W2 of the flow channel 10 or the cell.

摘要: A multifunction device has a plurality of functions. The multifunction device includes an input unit, a general-purpose process unit, a single specific process unit, and an output unit. The input unit receives image data. The general-purpose process unit implements a plurality of tasks for each of the plurality of functions. The plurality of tasks includes compression of the image data in a compression format and expansion of the image data which has been compressed. The single specific process unit is controlled by the general-purpose process unit. The specific process unit implements only two tasks, one task being compression of the image data in the compression format for each of the plurality of functions, the other task being expansion of the image data which has been compressed for each of the plurality of functions. The output unit outputs the image data. The general-purpose process unit determines which the general-purpose process unit or the specific processing unit should implement the compression/expansion.

摘要: An analyzer in which optical measurement is performed with respect to a sample placed in optically transparent cells of an analysis tool includes a light source unit, a light-receiving unit, a tray on which the tool is placed, and a drive mechanism for driving the tray. The tray includes a holding section that holds the tool in a predetermined position. The drive mechanism reciprocates the tray between a first position where the tool placed on the tray is exposed to the outside of the analyzer and a second position where the tool is accommodated inside the analyzer. The light source unit is disposed so that emitted light is incident on a cell of the tool when the tray is located in the second position. The light-receiving unit is disposed so as to receive light transmitted through the cell when the tray is located in the second position.

摘要: A method for controlling an air servo cylinder apparatus includes an advancing process of advancing a piston up to a target position by controlling, by a controller, servo valves individually connected to a pressure chamber on the head side and that on the rod side of the cylinder, and a pressurizing process of subsequently applying a required pressurizing force to the piston. In the advancing process, the piston starts to be driven with the servo valve on the head side opened to the air intake side and the servo valve on the rod side opened to the exhaust side. Thereafter, the opening degree of the servo valve on the rod side is varied into an opening degree in accordance with a deviation of the current position from the target position, and thereby the piston is smoothly decelerated as it approaches the target position.

摘要: A technique for improving characteristics of a semiconductor device (DMOSFET) is provided. A semiconductor device is configured so as to include: an n-type source layer (102) disposed on an upper portion of a first surface side of an SiC substrate (106); a p body layer (103) which surrounds the source layer and has a channel region; an n−-type drift layer (107) which is in contact with the p body layer (103); a gate electrode (116) which is disposed on an upper portion of the channel region via a gate insulating film; and a first p+ layer (109) which is disposed in the p body layer (103), extends to a portion below the n+ source layer (102), and serves as a buried semiconductor region having an impurity concentration higher than that of the p body layer (103). In this manner, since the first p+ layer (109) is formed in the middle of the p body layer (103), it is possible to reduce the diffusion resistance of the p body layer (103). Thus, it is possible to make a parasitic bipolar transistor harder to turn on.
