摘要: A bumper for motor vehicles, with the bumper having an extruded basic element having a shaped retaining rail adapted to accept an impact plate of a shock absorber. The impact plate is floatingly mounted in an elastomeric element. The elastomeric element is pushed into the retaining rail and the retaining rail is provided with recesses adapted to accept associated projections provided on the elastomeric element in a supporting fashion when an installation position of the bumper is reached.

摘要: A motor vehicle bumper consisting of an approximately U-shaped relatively elastic base body, of an apron made of elastic plastic material which covers the forwardly disposed web of the base body and is drawn around up to the flanges adjoining the web on both sides, and of a cover constructed as decorative strip and covering at least the remaining visible part of the upwardly disposed flange; the cover is thereby pivotally connected with the base body exclusively by fastening elements disposed substantially in the axial direction of the two bumper supports while the upper flange is surrounded at the end face by clamps formed out of the cover within the area of the bumper supports and possibly also within areas displaced outwardly with respect thereto.

摘要: A disposable sensor head for an optical sensor has a central body (12) with an axial through-channel (20) closed by a transparent viewing disk (14) oriented transversely with respect to its longitudinal direction, and a circumferential fastening flange (22), by which the central body is fastenable in a sealing fashion on a wall of a flexible container (62) so that the through-channel (20) passes through the wall. The through-channel (20) forms in one section an open flow chamber (34) that is bounded on one side by the viewing disk (14) and on the other side by a reflector disk (16) arranged opposite the viewing disk (14).

摘要: A bioreactor vessel has an optical foam sensor (36) with a foam contact surface for contacting the foam to be detected. The foam contact surface is an inner side of a window (38) transparent to light from the visible and ultraviolet spectral range in an outer wall of the bioreactor vessel (10). An outer side of the window (38) is coupled to an illumination and detection unit (52) with at least one first light source (56) of visible light and at least one photodetector (58) to detect light from the first light source (56) that is reflected in the bioreactor vessel (10). The foam contact surface has a titanium dioxide coating (44) superhydrophilizable by photoactivation with ultraviolet light and the illumination and detection unit (52) has at least one second light source (66) of ultraviolet light.

摘要: A bumper arrangement for a motor vehicle, especially an automobile, with the bumper arrangement including a bending-resistant support mounted on a part integrally secured with the motor vehicle. A front of the support accommodates a preferably replacable energy absorber composed of at least one component. The energy absorber itself is partially surrounded by a shell made of a viscoelastic material. The shell is connected to a covering part of viscoelastic material having a downwardly projecting skirt segment and an upwardly extending segment which is extended in a direction toward adjoining body portions of the motor vehicle. A front side of the support is made essentially flat and is adapted to receive a middle segment of the covering part. For attachment of the shell to the covering part locally discontinuous guide grooves are provided in an area of the upper segment and skirt segment, the guide grooves being adapted to lockingly accommodate the appropriate projections or ends of the shell.

摘要: A bumper for motor vehicles which is displaced in the vehicle longitudinal direction in case of an impact and which is provided with end portions laterally drawn about the vehicle, rigidly connected with the bumper center portion and extending approximately parallel to the vehicle outer surfaces. For purposes of longitudinally guiding the end portions at a distance from the vehicle outer surface, mounting brackets are rigidly connected to each end portion and have free which engage guide members projecting from the vehicle outer surface. A support part of each end portion terminates at a distance from an associated wheel casing cutout and includes on its top side a cover member rigidly connected to the end portion and the remaining area of the end portion is covered by a downwardly projecting apron. In case of a unilateral yielding of the bumper, the apron at first engages a deflection edge of the guide member and then is guided along the same past the wheel while being bent.

摘要: A motor vehicle bumper-covering for bridging the upper gap between the vehicle body and the bumper structure is supported at the vehicle body, and consists of an upper covering strip combined with two lateral or side parts forming pocket-shaped members for covering or enclosing the ends of the bumper. The covering strip and the lateral pocket-shaped parts are a soft elastic material which is securely connected with the vehicle body by fasteners, such as threaded screws or bolts, acting in conjunction with fastening plates of a hard material. A preferably construction of the pocket-shaped lateral portions of the bumper covering includes a generally C-shaped cross-sectional profiled configuration with the opened side of the configuration facing the vehicle body; the C-shaped profiled lateral pocket member being attached to the vehicle body by a holding plate clamping the edges of the pocket-like member to the wall of the vehicle body in conjunction with a fastening member. The bumper structure may be of the type supported at the vehicle by yielding energy-absorbing members.
