    摘要: A vibration-suppressed transformer is fixed to a base plate and includes a magnetic lower core, two or more magnetic upper cores, primary and secondary coils. The lower core is on the base plate. The upper cores are arranged face to face over the lower core. The coils are arranged between the lower and upper cores. Each upper core contacts the lower core, on an outer side of the coils, with a first gap being provided between the upper and lower cores, on an inner side of the coils. The upper cores are extended towards each other from the outer to the inner side of the coils, with a second gap being provided therebetween. The second gap is provided therein with a non-magnetic pressing member to press the lower core against the base plate, on an inner side of the coils.

    摘要: A semiconductor unit for protecting a secondary battery has a current detecting terminal converting a charging current to a negative voltage with respect to a negative electrode potential (ground potential) of the secondary battery when the secondary battery is charged, converting the charging current to a positive voltage with respect to the negative electrode potential (ground potential) of the secondary battery when the secondary battery is discharged, and detecting the charging/discharging current; and a test signal generating circuit generating a first test signal when the voltage of the current detecting terminal lowers to a first negative voltage which does not occur in a normal operation state of the semiconductor unit, and generating a second test signal when the voltage of the current detecting terminal lowers to a second negative voltage lower than the first negative voltage.

    摘要: A vehicular occupant restraint system includes a distance sensor, an electromagnetic wave radiation-type occupant sensor, a controller, and an airbag drive circuit. When the controller predicts a collision and determines it is unavoidable based on the output of the distance sensor, the controller sends an instruction signal to the occupant sensor to determine the seating condition of an occupant. Then, the airbag drive circuit performs an airbag deployment control in accordance with the determined seating condition. This system thus reduces power consumption and electromagnetic wave radiation of the occupant sensor.

    摘要: A battery pack includes a secondary battery, a discharge-control transistor, a charge-control transistor connected in series with the discharge-control transistor between a negative power source terminal of the secondary battery and either a terminal of a load or a negative power source terminal of a charger, and a battery protection semiconductor device for protecting a secondary battery. The battery protection semiconductor device includes a detection circuit that detects at least one of an excessively charged state, an excessive discharging state, an overcurrent state, a short-circuit state, and an overheating state of the secondary battery, a control circuit that turns on and off the discharge-control transistor and the charge-control transistor, and a charge prevention circuit that prevents the secondary battery from being charged by turning off the charge-control transistor when a voltage of the secondary battery is not greater than a predetermined low-voltage criterial voltage variable by trimming a portion of the charge prevention circuit.
