    摘要: An image forming device includes a toner supplying unit to supply the toner to a storage unit. A mixer supplies developer in the storage unit to a developing roller, and a developer sensor detects the amount of developer on the surface of the developing roller. A toner concentration sensor detects toner concentration in the developer stored in the storage unit, and a control unit adjusts at least one of a developing bias and a rotation speed of the mixer based on a value detected by the developer sensor and a value detected by the toner concentration sensor, such that a printed image has uniform density.

The developing device includes a toner concentration sensor which detects a concentration of a toner contained in the developing agent within the accommodation unit by using electrostatic capacity. The toner concentration sensor includes a frame combined with a housing that forms the accommodation unit, a measuring groove formed in the frame to be concave with respect to an inner surface of the housing so that the developing agent conveyed by the agitator is flowed into the measuring groove, and a pair of opposite electrodes disposed on the measuring groove.
