    摘要： A tracking device is disclosed. When a target track is indicated by indicating means, the head is shifted toward the target track. During this time, prior to the detecting the signal for a position of the target track, the signals for the adjacent positions to the position of the target track on either side are detected, and, after that, the signal for the position of the target track is detected. Based on the outputs of these positions, discriminating means determines the position to which the head is tracked relative to the recording medium.

    摘要： In a colorimetric sensor having a plurality of color sensors each of which is composed of a photo-electric conversion element for converting light into an electrical signal and a color filter added to the photo-electric conversion element for transmitting light of a specific wave length region, each of the color sensors is composed of a plurality of polygonally split pieces radially extending and spreading from a central part of the colorimetric sensor. A color sensor of a relatively low sensitivity has a greater number of split pieces than others. Among these color sensors, a color sensor having the lowest sensitivity has its split pieces either partially or totally disposed in a position covering two sides of an angular corner part of the colorimetric sensor.

    摘要： A recording and/or reproducing apparatus in which a head is driven along a disk while the disc is rotated. A rotation speed control and a rotation phase control are provided to control the disc rotation. The apparatus is operated in a phase control mode until the phase of the disc rotation deviates from a reference phase by a predetermined amount. Then the apparatus switches to speed control. A memory is used to store data concerning start up information to reduce the required amount of start up time required in future operations.

    摘要： A recording apparatus having a recording head for recording video signals on a magnetic disc as the disc rotates, comprises a servo motor, a circuit for generating a feedback signal representing the rotating state of the servo motor, a head moving member for changing over the recording position of the recording head relative to the magnetic disc, and a control circuit for performing a first sequence of controlling the rotating state of the servo motor in response to the feedback signal and a second sequence of controlling the moving state of the head moving member time-dividedly in response to generation of the feedback signal, so that the apparatus is constructed without the necessity of using a standard timing generating source solely used for controlling the movement of the head.
