摘要: A semiconductor yaw rate sensor, which can be structured easily by means of an IC fabrication process, such that a yaw rate detection signal due to a current value is obtained by means of a transistor structure and a method of producing the same is disclosed. A weight supported by beams is disposed at a specified interval from a surface of a semiconductor substrate, and movable electrodes and excitation electrodes are formed integrally with the weight. Fixed electrodes for excitation use are fixed to the substrate in correspondence to the excitation electrodes. Along with this, source electrodes as well as drain electrodes are formed by means of a diffusion layer on a surface of the substrate at positions opposing the movable electrodes, such that drain current changes in correspondence with displacement of the movable electrodes by means of Corioli's force due to yaw rate, and the yaw rate is detected by this current.

摘要: A ring oscillator for circulating pulse edges of two types therein includes an even number of inverting circuits connected in a ring. Each of the inverting circuits is operative to invert an input signal and output an inversion of the input signal. One of the inverting circuits is a first start inverting circuit which starts an operation of inverting an input signal in response to a first control signal applied from an external input. One of the inverting circuits except the first start inverting circuit and an inverting circuit immediately following the first start inverting circuit is a second start inverting circuit which starts an operation of inverting an input signal in response to a second control signal. A control signal inputting arrangement serves to input the second control signal to the second start inverting circuit during an interval from a first moment at which the first control signal is inputted into the first start inverting circuit and the first start inverting circuit starts the inverting operation to a second moment at which a pulse edge initially generated by the start of the inverting operation of the first start inverting circuit and travelling while being sequentially inverted by the inverting circuits enters the second start inverting circuit.

摘要: An electrophotography developing apparatus has been developed which can protect a developer holder and a layer thickness control member from damage. The device also prevents internal scattering of the developer while preventing a surplus supply of the developer to both ends on the peripheral surface of the developer holder. The unique advantages of the invention are derived through the utilization of sealing members having different elastic properties, which assume both bulk removal of excess developer while providing the needed uniform developer thickness. Another embodiment of the invention has the width of the layer thickness control member in a longitudinal direction set wider than the width of the developer holder in a longitudinal direction, and both side edges of the layer thickness control member are positioned outside both side edges of the developer holder. Proper sealing is assured by having the inner side edges of the sealing member positioned inside the side edges of the developer holder and outside the side edges of the image area of the image holder.

摘要: A semiconductor type yaw rate sensor has a substrate, a beam structure formed from a semiconductor material and having at least one anchor portion disposed on the substrate, a weighted portion located above the substrate a predetermined gap therefrom, and a beam portion which extends from the anchor portion and supports the weighted portion. A movable electrode is formed onto the weighted portion, and a fixed electrode is formed on the substrate in such a manner that the fixed electrode faces the movable electrode. When a drive voltage is applied between the movable electrode and the fixed electrode, the beam structure is forcibly caused to vibrate in a direction that is horizontal relative to a substrate surface plane. In this yaw rate sensor, a strain gauge to monitor forced vibration of the beam structure is formed in the beam portion. As a result, the forced vibration of the beam structure can be monitored with a simple structure.

摘要: A pulse circulating circuit includes inverting circuits each for inverting an input signal and outputting an inversion of the input signal. A time of signal inversion by each of the inverting circuits varies in accordance with a power supply voltage applied thereto. One of the inverting circuits constitutes an inverting circuit for starting which is controllable in inversion operation. The pulse circulating circuit circulates a pulse signal therethrough after the inverting circuit for starting starts to operate. An input terminal subjected to an analog voltage signal is connected to power supply lines of the respective inverting circuits for applying the analog voltage signal to the inverting circuits as a power supply voltage fed thereto. A counter serves to count a number of times of complete circulation of the pulse signal through the pulse circulating circuit. A circulation position detecting device serves to detect a circulation position of the pulse signal in the pulse circulating circuit on the basis of output signals of the respective inverting circuits. A control device is operative for activating the inverting circuit for starting and thereby starting pulse circulating operation of the pulse circulating circuit, and for activating the circulation position detecting means at a moment which follows a moment of starting pulse circulating operation by a given time. An output device is operative for outputting digital data as an A/D conversion result. The A/D conversion result data has lower bits composed of output digital data of the circulation position detecting device, and higher bits composed of output digital data of the counter.

摘要: The object of the invention is to reduce the number of parts which are required for supporting a photosensitive drum in a photosensitive drum cartridge. Engaging bodies of supporting members are inserted through mounting holes of a cartridge main body. Supporting shafts are inserted into supporting shaft insertion holes formed on the sides of a photosensitive drum. When the supporting members are rotated, the side walls of the cartridge main body are fitted into gaps between flat plates and engaging pieces. The supporting members are positioned with respect to and fixed to the cartridge main body, whereby the photosensitive drum is supported in the cartridge main body.
