    摘要: Crosslinked copolymer particles comprising hydrophilic crosslinked copolymer particles with a hydrophobic functional group being bonded thereto via an oxygen atom derived from a hydroxyl group of said hydrophilic crosslinked copolymer, which are obtained by reacting hydrophilic crosslinked copolymer particles with a reagent for introducing a hydrophobic functional group in an organic solvent capable of swelling said hydrophilic crosslinked copolymer particles, said hydrophilic crosslinked copolymer particles being prepared by suspension polymerization of glycerol monomethacrylate and a crosslinking polyvinyl compound in the presence of an organic solvent, such as a monohydric alcohol having from 5 to 14 carbon atoms. The polymer particles are useful as a carrier for gel-filtration of hydrophilic biopolymers such as proteins and nucleic acids.

    摘要: An image recording apparatus includes a recording section which is provided over a transport passage for transporting a sheet in a transport direction and which has nozzles for discharging an ink onto the sheet; a platen which is provided under the recording section with the transport passage intervening therebetween and which has a plurality of ribs provided to support the sheet while being separated from each other in a widthwise direction of the transport passage perpendicular to the transport direction, the respective ribs protruding upwardly and extending in the transport direction; and a plurality of holding members which are provided to be positioned between the plurality of ribs in the widthwise direction of the transport passage over the platen on an upstream side in the transport direction from the nozzles and which abut against an upper surface of the sheet and press the sheet toward the platen.

    摘要: Conveyance of a sheet in an inkjet recording apparatus may be stopped under various conditions. In one example, a control device of the inkjet recording apparatus may stop conveyance on the sheet depending on the image to be formed in one or more portions of the sheet. Alternatively or additionally, conveyance may be stopped based on an amount of ink ejected or to be ejected onto a sheet, or portion thereof. The conveyance stoppage control may be used in conjunction with a corrugate mechanism in some arrangements.

    摘要: There is provided an ink-jet recording apparatus including: a first transporting portion provided in a first transport path; a support member configured to support the sheet; a recording portion; a plurality of contact portions configured to come into contact with the sheet; a plurality of support ribs; a second transporting portion provided in a second transport path connected with the first transport path; and a third transporting portion configured to sandwich and transport the sheet in the first transporting direction or toward the second transport path. On the upstream side to the second transporting portion in the second transporting direction, a projecting portion is formed with the upper guide member to project toward the lower guide member below a virtual line linking a nip position of the sheet due to the third transporting portion with another nip position of the sheet due to the second transporting portion.
