    摘要: Novel farnesylacetic acid ester derivatives containing an amine nitrogen in the alcohol residue thereof and represented by the following general formula exhibit high levels of antiulcerogenic activity and very low levels of toxicity: ##STR1## wherein A is an alkylene radical containing at least 2 carbon atoms; R.sup.1 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkenyl; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently H, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkenyl or one of R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 forms, together with A, a piperidine, pyrrolidine, tetrahydropyrimidine or piperazine ring which contains the nitrogen atom lying therebetween or R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 combine to form, together with the adjacent nitrogen atom, a piperazine ring; provided that the total number of carbon atoms contained in A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is at least 5.

    摘要: Allenic esters of the formula: ##EQU1## (specific examples of R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are given) and a process for the preparation thereof which comprises reacting propargyl alcohol derivatives with 2-substituted ortho-acetic acid esters in the presence of an acidic catalyst. These allenic esters are rearranged in the presence of an alkali catalyst to form .alpha., .beta., .gamma., .delta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid esters and are useful as intermediates in the synthesis of various perfumes, medicines, agricultural chemicals and the like.

    摘要: A new pyrethroid compound which is low in toxicity to fish and a pesticidal composition containing the same as an active ingredient are provided. The above pyrethroid compound is a substituted cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ester of the general formula: ##STR1## (wherein A is a hydrogen atom or an ethynyl group) Despite its broad pesticidal spectrum and high pesticidal activity, this ester is very low in toxicity to man and domestic animals and especially low in toxicity to fish as compared with the conventional pyrethroid compounds.

    摘要: A dynamometer comprising a first member, a second member which is movable relative to the first member along a predetermined path, a piston and cylinder arrangement for resisting movement of the second member with respect to the first member in one direction along the predetermined path with a force which increases from zero with the distance moved from a rest position, and a potentiometer having a first elongate resistor element having two ends and a second wiper element which is in electrical contact with the resistor element and is movable with respect thereto to establish an electrical resistance between the wiper element and one end of the resistor element which increases with relative movement of the elements in one direction. One of the elements of the potentiometer is fixedly mounted on the first member, and the other element is coupled to the second member so that movement of the second member along the predetermined path away from the rest position is accompanied by relative movement of the elements in the direction to increase the electrical resistance between the wiper element and the end of the resistor element.

    摘要: A human IgG.sub.1 type monoclonal antibody which possesses a molecular weight in the range of 180,000.+-.20,000 as measured by the method of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis performed in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate and is specific to nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. The human IgG.sub.1 type monoclonal antibody mentioned above is produced by a method which comprises fusing human cells capable of producing an antibody against nicotinic acetylcholine receptor with propagable human cells thereby giving rise to a hybridoma capable of producing the aforementioned human IgG.sub.1 type monoclonal antibody, selecting the hybridoma from the production of the fusion, culturing the hybridoma thereby giving rise to the aforementioned human IgG.sub.1 type monoclonal antibody, and selecting the antibody from the cultured medium. The hybridoma mentioned above is also identified.

    摘要: A method of imaging an internal organ of a patient for purposes of medical diagnosis, where a patient forms an O-ring shape with one of hands by placing the fingertips of his thumb and one of his remaining fingers together and a sample of tissue of an internal organ is placed on the patient's other hand, and the patient's internal organ is non-invasively externally probed with a probing instrument. The internal organ is the same type of organ as that of the sample. Simultaneously a tester attempts to pull apart the O-ring shape by means of the tester placing his thumb and one of the remaining fingers of each of his hands within the O-ring shape of the patient to form interlocking O-rings and pulling the thumb and the finger of the patient apart due to an electromagnetic field of the tissue of the sample interacting with an electromagnetic field of the internal organ being probed and this interaction is detected by the ability to pull apart the O-ring shape thereby permitting imaging of the boundaries of the internal organ being probed.
