摘要: A method of fabricating a semiconductor device through selective diffusion of aluminum vapor into a silicon substrate by heating a sealed tube in which the silicon substrate and an aluminum source are disposed. The diffusion is effected with a low concentration of aluminum smaller than about 10.sup.17 atoms/cm.sup.3, thereby making it possible to use a silicon oxide film as a diffusion mask for the selective diffusion of aluminum at predetermined region of the silicon substrate.

Also, to provide a novel means for diagnosing or treating a malignant tumor.[Solution means] Monoclonal antibodies against human GPR87 are provided. The antibodies can recognize human GPR87, which is expressed on a cell membrane while retaining a three-dimensional structure, and can recognize GPR87, which is expressed in a cell endogenously with an epitope being present in an extracellular domain of full-length human GPR87. The antibodies are thus useful in biochemical analysis, etc., of GPR87, useful in immunohistological diagnosis, etc., of squamous cell carcinoma, and also potentially useful in PET diagnosis, antibodies for treatment, etc., of squamous cell carcinoma.

摘要: An object is to provide a printing machine nip checking system and the like that facilitates a nip checking operation. In the invention, a subject roller selecting section 10 is provided that selects a roller of which a nip width is to be checked. When a subject is narrowed, a main gear rotation angle calculating section 11 determines a rotation angle of the selected roller, in addition to a rotation direction. A main gear rotation driving section 13 connected to the main gear rotation angle calculating section 11 rotates a main gear 18 by the calculated desired angle, after the main gear 18 is stopped for a certain amount of time. As a result, an operator can visually recognize a nip on a subject gear without particularly considering the rotation direction and the rotation angle of the main gear 18.

摘要: In a system for preparing a wire harness production, a modified wiring pattern generator generates modified wire harness wiring pattern information related to at least one second pattern in which at least one of parts, electric circuits, and wirings of a first pattern including the parts, the electric circuits, and the wirings of a standard type vehicle is altered. A parts information storage stores parts specification information including specifications of the parts, the electric circuits and the wiring included in the second patterns. A simulator simulates whether each of the second patterns is practical while referring to the parts specification information. A sub wiring pattern modifier modifies at least one of first sub patterns constituting the first pattern to at least one of second sub patterns so as to constitute the second pattern judged as practical by the simulator. A jig arrangement pattern information generator generates jig arrangement pattern information related to jig arrangement patterns prepared by applying at least one sub jig arrangement pattern to each of a plurality of wire harness path patterns of the standard type vehicle included in wire harness path pattern information. Path decision information selects one wire harness path pattern among the plurality of wire harness path patterns. Alternation information indicates at least one of alternation portions altered from the first pattern. A jig arrangement pattern selector selects one jig arrangement pattern corresponding to the selected wire harness path pattern among the plurality of wire harness path patterns. A path plan generator generates a path plan by integrating the modified second sub pattern having the alternation portions which is indicated in the alternation information and the selected jig arrangement pattern.

摘要: A plasma treatment apparatus for forming a thin film on a substrate in a vacuum vessel includes a magnetic field generator which can be positioned inside or outside the vacuum vessel, and a microwave source. The magnetic field strength is controllable such that an electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) area is defined near the substrate. The magnetic field generator can be arranged so that plasma and reactive gas introduction ports are on the microwave introduction side of the ECR area and the substrate is on the opposite side of the ECR area. Alternatively, a gas introduction port can be positioned such that reactive gas is introduced into the ECR area or onto the substrate.

摘要: A display device such as a liquid crystal display device is provided which comprises a single substrate, a plurality of thin film semiconductor elements provided on the substrate, a plurality of display elements whose pixel display is controlled by the semiconductor elements, and electrodes for driving the display elements. The substrate includes a display zone having the thin film semiconductor elements arranged in the display elements as well as a non-display zone. The non-display zone has a display scan drive circuit area and a display signal drive circuit area. The thin film semiconductor elements are formed in the both zones. A distance between the display signal drive circuit area and the semiconductor elements of the display zone on the substrate is physically arranged so as be larger than a distance between the display scan drive circuit area and the semiconductor elements of the display zone. In the display device, the multiplicity of semiconductor elements are formed on a glass substrate having one side of several or more inches so that minimum processing dimensions of the semiconductor elements in the display zone are smaller than those in the non-display zone.
