Abstract:
An applicator for use in treating a portion of skin includes an applicator tip that has an end configured to contact the portion of skin, a sonic source mechanically coupled to the applicator tip, a heat source thermally coupled to an end of the applicator tip, and a controller. The applicator tip includes a thermally-conductive material. During operation of the applicator, the controller controls operation of the sonic source to impart mechanical movements to the applicator tip at a sonic frequency and controls operation of the heat source to transfer heat to the end of the applicator tip via the thermally-conductive material of the applicator tip.
Abstract:
A soaking basin is provided having a magnetic jet assembly positioned to provide a therapeutic liquid circulation within the basin. The magnetic jet includes an impeller assembly and a drive assembly. The impeller assembly operatively coupled to the magnetic drive assembly only via magnetic attraction, such that a basin wall and a disposable liner are disposed between the impeller assembly and the magnetic drive assembly.
Abstract:
A handheld device for application to a skin surface of a human or animal includes a housing arranged and configured for gripping by a human hand having a mount for a thermal body-care element, a thermal body-care element operatively connected to the mount on the housing, a motion-generating system contained within the housing, and a heat-generating element. The thermal body-care element has a body-care surface. The motion-generating system includes a motor operatively coupled to the body-care surface to impart motion thereto and electrically coupled to an internal electric power source contained within the housing. The heat-generating element is thermally coupled to the body-care surface and has a container enclosing an electric heater in thermal contact with a thermal energy storage medium and an electrical connection for selective coupling to an external electrical power source. The heat-generating element container is disposed within the thermal body-care element.
Abstract:
A massage control system for a vehicle. The massage control system includes an input for receiving an instruction for control of a massage parameter to a massaging element of the vehicle. The massage control system has a monitoring module arranged to monitor the instruction received by the input over time to determine a massage usage trend. The massage control system also has a control module arranged to receive the massage usage trend and output a massage parameter demand to the massaging element based on the massage usage trend.
Abstract:
A first head of a beauty device includes a stirring mechanism stirring bubbles, and a head case provided with an opening for allowing the bubbles stirred by the stirring mechanism to pass through. When the first head is used while being mounted to the body of the beauty device, bubbles are supplied to the stirring mechanism from the body of the beauty device. In a state where bubbles supplied to the stirring mechanism are present between the stirring mechanism and the skin, the bubbles are stirred and moved between the stirring mechanism and the skin by the stirring mechanism, and thus impurities of the skin are removed by the bubbles.
Abstract:
The tempered portable wash unit generally includes a container having an interior for selectively receiving and retaining a select quantity of fluid. A dispenser may be coupled with the container and be in fluid communication with the fluid retaining interior, the dispenser being actuable between a first closed position restricting outflow of fluid from the container and a second open position permitting dispensing fluid from the container. A heat trace cable may couple with the container and be positioned therewith for generating variable heat along its length thereof in response to changes in localized temperatures to generally maintain the temperature of the fluid within the container within a desired threshold temperature comprising a range of 60° F. to 100° F. in ambient atmospheric temperatures as low as −30° Fahrenheit (“F”) and in compliance with an ANSI Class 1 Div. 1 classification.

Abstract:
A breast massage device includes a main body; a drive unit installed within the main body; and a massage disk mounted on the main body and electrically coupled with the drive unit so as to be driven rotatably thereby, the massage disk having an external surface that is used for covering a breast and that is contoured to possess at least two arcuated areas extending in an asymmetric inclination manner relative to each other, and a plurality of massage elements mounted rotatably on the arcuated areas such that the massage elements are rotatable relative to the external surface upon activation of the drive unit.
Abstract:
A heating apparatus to generate steam by heating water includes a silicone mask, a mask seat, an upper base cover, a seal ring, and a lower base cover. The upper base cover has an inner cavity and an outer cavity therein. The inner cavity is adapted to accommodate heating water. The outer cavity is adapted to accommodate supply water. A gap is formed between the inner cavity and the outer cavity for the supply water to flow into the inner cavity. The heating water in the inner cavity is heated by a heating member disposed under the inner cavity to generate steam. The steam enters the mask seat through an adjustment plate disposed above the inner cavity. The present invention not only shortens the time to heat the water but also saves the power to enhance the work efficiency. The service life of the product is prolonged.
Abstract:
A mist generator device includes a mist generation unit that generates mist from a liquid. A mist flow passage is connected to the mist generation unit. The mist from the mist generation unit flows through the mist flow passage. A tubular mist nozzle releases the mist, which is supplied from the mist generation through the mist flow passage, out of the mist generator device. The mist nozzle includes a mist entrance, a mist exit, and an inner constriction located at an inner side of the mist nozzle. The inner constriction includes a step that decreases an inner diameter of the mist nozzle from the mist entrance toward the mist exit.
