Abstract:
A display case includes a housing partially surrounding a display space, a door pivotably coupled to the housing and cooperating with the housing to further enclose the display space, and a hinge assembly for pivotably coupling the door to the housing. The hinge assembly includes a biasing member applying a biasing force on the door and a gear drive for adjusting a pre-tension force on the biasing member.
Abstract:
A vehicle window driving mechanism and a vehicle utilizing the vehicle window driving mechanism are provided. The vehicle window driving mechanism includes a box, a motor mounted to the box, and a transmission assembly mounted to the box and connected to the motor. The motor is a single phase permanent magnet brushless motor. The vehicle window driving mechanism has a relatively smaller size.

Abstract:
An electric door operator for opening and closing one or a spaced pair of transit vehicle passenger doors for being mounted over an opening for the doors. A rotatable input shaft has an electric motor secured to the input shaft for driving the input shaft, a worm centrally positioned on the motor shaft, and an electric brake mounted to the input shaft at an end opposite of the electric motor. A drum cam lifts a pinion from a worm gear disconnecting the worm gear from an output gear train in an emergency.
Abstract:
Gear unit and motor-driven gear unit for cable window lift system of motor vehicles, comprising drive and gear mechanism which cooperates with the drive and is coupled to rotatably mounted cable drum for winding/unwinding a cable of the system. Diameter of the cable drum of the gear unit ranges from about 22 mm to about 30 mm, preferably from about 24 mm to about 28 mm; gear ratio of the gear mechanism ranges from about 1:38 to about 1:55, preferably from about 1:42 to about 1:51. The cable drum has, on its end face, claws which engage in corresponding recesses on the end face of a worm wheel. Electric motors having maximum driving torque of only about 5.7 Nm can be used. The gear unit size can be reduced by about 40-50%, and it can be standardized for both electric and manual cable window lift systems for front or rear vehicle doors.
Abstract:
A door closer the closing force of which can be adjusted is provided with a device for indicating the selected closing force. The device used to indicate the prevailing closing force is actuated in dependence on the adjustment of the spring which determines the closing force.
Abstract:
A vehicle door pushing device in a vehicle door includes a gear member, a male screw member, and a female screw member. The gear member is rotatable by an actuator around an axis extending in a first direction substantially parallel to a vehicle width direction. The male screw member is coaxial with the gear member, and rotates integrally with the gear member. The female screw member is screwed onto the male screw member, and is movable along the first direction by rotation of the male screw member to each of a first position of being in a casing and a second position of at least partially protruding from the casing to a vehicle inner side. The gear member has a cup-shaped structure open at an end on the vehicle inner side in the first direction for being able to accommodate at least a part of the female screw member.
Abstract:
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a panel for opening and closing an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle by means of at least one lever assembly connected to the panel. A stationary frame is fitted in the opening of the fixed roof. A drive motor is placed in the vicinity of the rear edge of the opening and in the vicinity of a longitudinal center line of the opening. The drive motor comprises an output shaft having a center axis which is perpendicular to a center axis of a rotor shaft of the drive motor. The drive motor is connected to a motor support which is attached to the frame by means of vibration dampers. The motor support supports a separate gearbox which is capable of transferring the driving torque from the drive motor to the at least one lever assembly connected to the panel.
Abstract:
An in-vehicle device includes: a movable member; a motor that moves the movable member; at least one detection switch that detects movement of the movable member; and a controller that controls the motor based on a detected output of the detection switch. The in-vehicle device further includes: a locking mechanism unit that, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member reaches an end point region in a movement direction, locks the movable member, and upon determination by the controller that a main switch is set to OFF, releases the lock; and a motor driver that, after the release of the lock by the locking mechanism unit, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member is moved again, drives the motor to move the movable member.
Abstract:
A refrigerator, comprising an automatic door-opening/closing apparatus mounted on a refrigerator body for driving the opening and closing of a door. When opening the door, if a first obstacle detecting apparatus detects the presence of an obstacle in front of the door, then the automatic door opening/closing apparatus stops the opening of the door; when closing the door, if a second obstacle detection apparatus detects the presence of an obstacle behind the door, then the automatic door-opening/closing apparatus stops the closing of the door. This stops the movement of the door upon the discovery of an obstacle while opening or closing the door, thus preventing the door from being damaged by collision, and when the obstacle is a person, preventing physical injuries from being caused.
