    摘要: An analysis tool which extracts all the available parameter identifications (i.e. PIDS) from a vehicle's power train control module for diagnostic decisions. This is done by checking these PIDS and other information (e.g., calculated PIDS, Break Points, charts and algorithms) in three states; key on engine off, key on engine cranking, key on engine running. In all three modes the tool is comparing the live data from PIDS and voltage to the other information (e.g, Break Points). If any of this data are outside the programmed values a flag is assigned to the failure or control problem. The relationship between a particular PID and its associated preprogrammed value(s) may be indicated by a light. The depth of the problem (if any) is conveyed by the color of the light. Also included are tests/charts for fuel trim, engine volumetric efficiency, simulated injector, power, catalyst efficiency, and engine coolant range.

    摘要: A method of analyzing the condition of a motor driven rotating system using a current waveform produced by the motor. The motor position is initially identified from the current waveform produced by the motor and more particularly, a step of identifying the segment switching of the motor is performed to identify the system position with reference to individual rotations of the motor. The current waveform is then normalized to a preselected number of data points, each rotation being described by the preselected number of data points, such that the current waveform is converted from the time domain to a spatial domain corresponding to positions of the system. Subsequently, a frequency analysis is performed to identify frequencies corresponding to characteristics of the system, including calculating a frequency dependent distribution of the normalized current waveform to determine the energy content of the waveform at particular frequencies.

    摘要: A method for estimating engine torque loss due to a fan. A table of maximum fan torque losses is compiled at a plurality of engine speeds. An engine control unit (ECU) is configured with the table of maximum fan torque losses. A first maximum fan torque loss and a second maximum fan torque loss for an engine speed are retrieved from the table. A maximum fan torque loss for the engine speed is estimated by interpolating between the first maximum fan torque loss and the second maximum fan torque loss. An engine torque loss estimate is calculated by adjusting the maximum fan torque loss based on a set of predetermined fan characteristics.

    摘要: There are provided a control device and an abnormal combustion detecting method for detecting occurrence of abnormal combustion during an expansion stroke of an internal combustion engine. The control device of the present invention receives a detection signal of a vibration sensor for detecting pressure vibration in a combustion chamber, and detects occurrence of knocking based on a knocking-specific frequency component extracted from the detection signal in a knocking determination region within the expansion stroke. In addition, the control device detects the characteristic value, different from the knocking-specific frequency component, of the detection signal in an abnormal combustion determination region which includes the knocking determination region and which expands over the compression stroke before ignition timing and the expansion stroke, and detects self-ignition during the compression stroke before ignition timing and self-ignition during the expansion stroke, based on the characteristic value.
