摘要: A battery pack having a population of secondary battery cells chargeable between a charged state and a discharged state, and a frame to hold secondary battery cells in the battery pack is provided, members of the population of secondary battery cells having an electrode assembly comprising a substantially polyhedral shape, and where the frame holds a cell array comprising a subset of the population of secondary batteries that are arranged adjacent to one another. A sealed secondary battery cell, electrode assembly, and methods of charging are also described.

摘要: Provided are an electronic device and a manufacturing method therefor. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a cover plate, and a cell. The first housing includes a bottom plate and a first enclosure wall annularly disposed on a side of the bottom plate. The second housing includes a top plate and a second enclosure wall annularly disposed on a side of the top plate. The second enclosure wall is sleeved on an outer side wall of the first enclosure wall. The top plate is provided with an exit hole. The cover plate plugs the exit hole. One of a positive tab or a negative tab of the cell is connected to a part of the cover plate facing the exit hole. The other one of the positive tab or the negative tab is sandwiched between the first enclosure wall and the second enclosure wall.

摘要: A button-type secondary battery of the present invention comprises: a first can having a first side surface extending vertically from a circumference of a first base surface; a second can having a second side surface extending vertically from a second base surface; and a gasket disposed between the first side surface and the second side surface when the first can and the second can are coupled to each other. The second base surface has a greater diameter than the first base surface, and the first can and the second can are coupled to each other with the first side surface inserted inside the second side surface. The first and second cans are fixed together by deforming the gasket so as to extend into a vent hole punched in the second side surface of the second can. A method for manufacturing the button-type secondary battery is also provided.

摘要: A battery cell includes a battery case having an accommodation portion in which an electrode assembly is mounted, and a sealing portion formed by sealing an outer periphery thereof, an electrode lead electrically connected to an electrode tab included in the electrode assembly and protruding out of the battery case via the sealing portion, and a lead film located at a portion corresponding to the sealing portion in at least one of an upper portion and a lower portion of the electrode lead. The lead film has a dented portion that is recessed in an outer direction of the battery case, the dented portion is opened toward the inside of the battery case, the dented portion includes a first dented portion and a second dented portion, and a width of the second dented portion is greater than a width of the first dented portion.

摘要: A resilient battery cell is provided that includes an electrode and an electrolyte hermetically sealed within a pouch. The pouch includes layers of heat-resistant and resilient materials coupled together by a thermoplastic seal. A conductive tab electrically coupled to the electrode and for electrically coupling of the battery cell to other cells and/or a battery terminal extends through and is hermetically sealed by the sealant. The battery cell may further include supplemental layers external the pouch for providing structural integrity, a vapor barrier, improved fire safety, and other benefits.

A battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a power generation element; and a sealing member containing an insulating material and zeolite particles. The power generation element includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The zeolite particles have an average particle size less than or equal to 1 μm.
