摘要: The present invention relates to a watch-type mobile terminal, comprising: a main body; a first band and a second band which are connected one side and the other side of the main body; a main board located inside the main body; a first antenna module mounted on the first band and connected to the main board to transmit and receive wireless signals; a second antenna module mounted on the second band and connected to the main board to transmit and receive wireless signals; and a control unit for maintaining the connection state between the second antenna and the main board when wireless communication is performed through the first antenna module, thereby using the second antenna module as the ground of the first antenna module. The watch-type mobile terminal can enhance the efficiency of the antennas by minimizing interferences among a plurality of antennas.

摘要: A flexible antenna is associated with an active implantable medical device to facilitate communication between the implantable medical device and an external component in the outside world via, for example, long range or far field telemetry. The flexibility of the antenna allows it to conform to the shape of the location at which it is situated, such as on the cranial bone of a patient for an antenna associated with a cranially implanted medical device. The conformability of the antenna helps to maintain the antenna in the desired shape and to maintain it in the desired location relative to implantable medical device and the patient and improves patient comfort.

摘要: Integrated antenna structures described herein may include planar inverted-F antennas (PIFAs) integrated with artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) metamaterials. The integrated metamaterial operatively coupled with the PIFA may function as an artificial magnetic reflector, sending all the energy radiated upwards, and thereby changing the original omnidirectional radiation pattern of the PIFA to a directional radiation pattern. The integrated antenna structures that include PIFAs and metamaterials may maintain a smaller form factor as compared to similar directional antennas, while exhibiting a suitable performance in terms of radiation efficiency, radiation pattern and impedance bandwidth.

The antenna is mounted perpendicularly to the plurality of components mounted on the first generally planar printed circuit board to thereby reduce electromagnetic interference.
