Abstract: An axial gap type rotating electric machine, having a stator with first tooth parts protruding in an axial direction and formed in a concentric arc-like manner, and a rotor with magnetic poles arranged in a distributed manner in the circumferential direction, and the magnetic poles include second tooth parts that protrude in the axial direction and are formed in a concentric arc-like manner, the second tooth parts being opposedly arranged so as to respectively engage with the first tooth parts with the intermediation of the air gap. The rotor is incorporated in the rotating member so as to be movable in the axial direction and so as not to be rotatable with respect to the rotating member. The rotating electric machine further includes an urging device that makes the air gap between the rotor and the stator adjustable.

Abstract: This cantilevered-shaft electric motor has no bearing on the load side, and since there also is no end bracket, which is present in ordinary electric motors, the internal stator and rotor are in an unprotected state in a bare state. The present invention provides a cantilevered-shaft electric motor that prevents damage to the stator and rotor during transport, causes handling properties during transport and during coupling to a load side to be favorable, and prevents contaminants from infiltrating. The cantilevered-shaft electric motor is provided with: a stator that is affixed at the inner diameter side of a housing; and a rotor that is rotatably borne disposed facing the inner peripheral side of the stator. The cantilevered-shaft electric motor has a structure such that the rotor is provided with a bearing at the reverse side from the load and the shaft at the load side is supported at an apparatus side. The cantilevered-shaft electric motor is characterized by being provided with a partition plate having a hole through which the rotary shaft penetrates at the load side of the rotor, the partition plate being provided with: a role as an affixing jig that supports the rotary shaft in a manner so that the rotor does not contact the stator during transport; and a role as a protective member that prevents the infiltration of contaminants from the outside.

Abstract: A synchronous motor includes: a stator core formed by stacking, in the axial direction, magnetic steel sheets stamped into a specific shape; and a cylindrical permanent magnet having magnetic poles formed on its outer circumferential surface and having polar anisotropic orientation corresponding to the number of magnetic poles. The permanent magnet is longer than the stator core in an axial direction. Grooves are formed in a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet that is opposed to the stator core and in a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet that is not opposed to the stator core and is located only on one side in the axial direction, and the grooves extends in the axial direction and are formed at a fixed interval in a rotation direction at an inter-magnetic pole portion.

Abstract: An electrically rotating machine, includes a rotor and a stator, the rotor and/or the stator including a laminated core, with an air gap being formed between the rotor and the stator, said rotor having axially and radially extending cooling paths in flow communication with each other and in flow communication with radially extending cooling paths of the stator via the air gap, wherein the radially extending cooling paths of the stator are respectively axially aligned with the radially extending cooling paths of the rotor; at least one fan for conducting an air flow through the axially and radially extending cooling paths of the rotor, the air gap and the cooling paths of the stator, wherein the air gap has at least one constriction defined by sheets of the laminated core of the rotor having an outer radius greater than remaining ones of the sheets of the laminated core of the rotor and/or by sheets of the laminated core of the stator having a smaller inner radius than remaining ones of the sheets of the laminated core of the stator.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of design and manufacture of magnetic couplings and provides a self-alignment protection device for permanent-magnet coupling, the self-alignment protection device comprises a first rotor and a second rotor respectively in fixedly connection with a load shaft (8) and a driving shaft (9), the first rotor and the second rotor being respectively mounted with permanent magnets that are mutually coupled to transmit torque, the first rotor and the second rotor are respectively configured with an inner conical surface and an outer conical surface that are coaxial and have mutually matching tapers, the self-alignment protection device further comprises an axial adjustment mechanism for adjusting the relative axial position between the first rotor and the second rotor. This technical solution solves the technical problem that the existing magnetic couplings are inconvenient to install and adjust.
