摘要: A shift element (1) for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle includes a first (2) and a second shift-element half (3). Each shift-element half includes a disk carrier (4, 5) and multiple essentially annular disks (11-14, 51-54). Multiple disks (11, 12) of the disk carrier (4) of at least one shift-element half (2) are designed in such a way that the disks have a defined imbalance. The disks (11, 12) having the defined imbalance are arranged or rotated relative to each other, with consideration for the size of the particular imbalance, in such a way that, in sum, the imbalances of the disks (11, 12) at least approximately cancel each other out and therefore, overall, this shift-element half (2) has no imbalance or at least a clearly reduced imbalance.

摘要: A power takeoff (PTO) clutch unit for connection to an engine flywheel has interleaved friction disks and center plates for transfer of power to an output shaft. A pair of anti-friction bearings support the output shaft. Actuation fluid and in some cases lubrication fluid are provided at a rotary union adjacent the bearings. A spring assembly biases the PTO to a disengaged position. Gland rings are positioned about the output shaft on either side of the rotary union to allow passage of pressurized actuating and lubricating fluid to the bearings.

摘要: A hybrid drive module for a motor vehicle includes at least one clutch and at least one electric machine. The clutch has an outer disk carrier and an inner disk carrier. Outer disks are disposed on the outer disk carrier and inner disks are disposed on the inner disk carrier. The outer disk carrier can be connected and/or is connected operatively to a rotor of the electric machine and a transmission input shaft. The inner disk carrier can be connected and/or is connected operatively to an internal combustion engine and a dual-mass flywheel and a centrifugal force pendulum are disposed spatially separated from one another. Torque vibrations are reduced by virtue of the fact that the centrifugal force pendulum is connected operatively to the inner disk carrier.

摘要: A vehicle transmission includes a transmission shaft, a friction element assembly mounted on the transmission shaft, a piston assembly for actuating the friction element assembly, a snap ring for retaining the friction element assembly and a mounting groove formed in the transmission shaft. The snap ring is installed into the mounting groove by expanding the snap ring and then allowing the snap to contract and enter the mounting groove. The mounting groove is located such that the snap ring could exit the mounting groove upon expansion of the snap ring due to a centrifugal force. Accordingly, various arrangements are provided to prevent the snap ring from leaving the mounting groove after installation.

摘要: A clutch plate assembly includes a central axis, a clutch plate with a first friction surface and a radially outer depressed portion, and a friction material ring. The friction material ring is bonded to the first friction surface and extends radially outside of the first friction surface such that an outer portion of the friction material ring is axially aligned with the clutch plate radially outer depressed portion. In an example embodiment, the first friction surface is disposed at an acute angle to a plane orthogonal to the central axis. In some example embodiments, the first friction surface is conical. In an example embodiment, the radially outer depressed portion is conical and axially offset from the first friction surface. In an example embodiment, the radially outer depressed portion is manufactured by machining, stamping, or coining.

摘要: A dual gain friction clutch is adapted to transmit an operational range of torques from a drive member to a driven member. The dual gain friction clutch incorporates a first friction clutch pack and a second friction clutch pack, the pack being axially aligned and adapted to address one of two segments of the operational range of torques. The clutch further includes a spring-loaded skate detent unit configured to control transition between the two segments of operational ranges of torques. Each friction clutch pack may include identical respective friction discs coupled to the drive member and respective pressure plates coupled to the driven member for selectively providing torque control within either of the lower and higher segments of the operational ranges of torques. The first clutch pack is configured to operate alone and independently of the second clutch pack during the lower segment of operational range of torques while and both friction clutch packs are configured to operate as a single combined friction clutch unit during the higher segment of operational range of torques.
