Abstract:
Disclosed herein are toggle-mode magnetoresistive random access memory (MRAM) devices having small-angle toggle write lines, and related methods of toggle-mode switching MRAM devices. Also disclosed are layouts for MRAM devices constructed according to the disclosed principles. Generally speaking, the disclosed principles provide for non-orthogonally aligned toggle-mode write lines used to switch toggle-mode MRAM devices that employ a bias field to decrease the threshold needed to switch the magnetic state of each device. While the conventional toggle-mode write lines provide for the desired orthogonal orientation of the applied magnetic fields to optimize device switching, the use of a bias field affects this orthogonal orientation. By non-orthogonally aligning the two write lines as disclosed herein, the detrimental affect of the bias field may be compensated for such that the net fields applied to the device for both lines are again substantially orthogonal, as is desired.
Abstract:
A terminal computer display assembly, which fixes a monitor onto a rotary supporting base provided. The support has a set of rails with a plurality of positioning units longitudinally aligned, and an inclined angular-positioning unit to limit the backward inclination of the support within a particular range of angles. The monitor is fixed onto a sliding block which is attached to the set of rails, allowing the monitor to move up or down freely for in a suitable highly location. A buffering unit is installed between the sliding block and the base, and it can prevent the monitor from falling instantaneously while positioning the height. The base is furthermore built with a circuit board inside for act as in interface for connecting to other accessories.

Abstract:
A system for clock and data recovery (“CDR”) includes a clock generator, a half-rate phase detector for receiving the input data, an encoder, a phase selector outputting recovered clock, a confidence counter, and a multiplexer outputting recovered data. The clock generator generates an 8-phase clock signal at half a rate of the transmitted serial data. The phase detector samples input data at four times the standard sampling rate, takes the oversampled data and detects phase transitions therein, i.e., phase lead and lag. The encoder encodes the phase transition data. The confidence counter receives the phase transition data and generates a signal representing the accumulated net effect of the phase transitions. The phase selector receives the confidence counter signal and the 8-phase clock from the clock generator, and determines the optimum phase for data sampling.
Abstract:
An inertial sensing method is disclosed, which is capable of detecting tilting of an inertial sensing apparatus with respect to a specific level surface while using the detection for defining/controlling movements of a cursor displayed on a display, In a preferred aspect, as it is capable of acting as an hand-held input device, a swing of a hand holding the inertial sensing apparatus can be detected thereby and is used for controlling a page change of a display. Operationally, a micro inertial sensing module of the aforesaid inertial sensing apparatus detects changes of gravity caused by tilts of the inertial sensing apparatus and then generates inclination signals accordingly while enabling a wireless transmitter to send the same to a micro processing unit where the inclination signals are filtered and then compared with predefined datum signals so as to enable a cursor control circuit to define/control movements of a cursor displayed on a display according to the comparison. In addition, an effect of vibration measured along an axis of a Cartesian coordinate system of X-, Y-, and Z-axes defining the inertial sensing apparatus can be eliminated by the use of variations of signals measured along other axes of the Cartesian coordinate system. Preferably, by using two Y-axis accelerometers of the micro inertial sensing module to measure a difference of centrifugal forces detected respectively thereby, the adverse affection of centrifugal forces exerting upon the Y-axis can be eliminated.
